"That was the purpose of my visit." she said with a nod, stifling a yawn.  "I won't be like this all the time, I'm just too tired to really worry about a masking spell right now.  Not that there are any people wandering about at this hour. " she said.  She then smiled.  "Well, since you now know of Nathan's whereabouts, I think I shall leave you to rest once more.  Goldnight, Catherine." she said with a bow.

"Good night to you as well. Safe travels to you," she said with a bow of her own, "Your quest is one of noble cause."

"Thank you, Catherine.  I wish you and Nathan well also." she said with a bow before leaving the house.  She then walked to their hotel room and opened the door silently before closing it and going into a corner of the room.  She would have slept next to Ahnah, but she might have woken her, so instead she curled up in the corner, her body a coil in the corner.  With a silent yawn, she fell asleep.

Half waking at the sound of the door, Ahnah watch from half opened eyes as Goldenscale coiled up in the corner. Walking over, she relinquished her desguise before curling up beside Goldenscale.

When morning came, she was first to wake. Stretching for a moment, she reestablish the disguise before starting to gather up all their supplies, packing them into backpacks for each of them to carry. Once everything was packed, she walked back over to Goldenscale and gave her a nudge to wake her.

Goldenscale felt Ahnah curl around her, and she unconsciously cuddled closer to her.  After what seemed like only a moment, her warm body receded and she felt something nudge her.  She whimpered and curled herself closer.  She curled her hands to her chest and curled her tail around her.

"Come one dear, you need to wake up. We have a long day ahead of us, and we need to catch the caravan," Ahnah whispered, leaning gently  leaning into Goldenscale's side, "I've got our bags packed. We just need to get moving. The caravan will be leaving soon, and it would be best if we didn't miss it."

She gave a soft moan before she opened her eyes sleepily.  "I'm up..." she said groggily, sitting up and rubbing one eye.  Seeing Ahnah in her human form, she decided to shapeshift herself, soon taking the form she had been in the day before.  She then got up off of the floor, stretching a bit before she went over to the bed and placed one of the backpacks on her back.  "Okay, I'm ready to leave..." she said before yawning.

"Right, let's get going then," Ahnah said, lifting her bag onto her back. When they exited the inn, a nearby caravan could be seen packing up the last of their supplies.

"Aye, though you two had changed your mind," a rough looking man laughed when he caught sight of Ahnah and Goldenscale, "We're About to leave so jump on in. There's plenty oh room on the back cart for ya."

Goldenscale followed Ahnah out the hotel and to the caravan.  She smiled at the man.  "No, we hadn't changed our minds.  I just got up late, so that delayed us." she said with an embarrased chuckle.  She then went to the back of the cart and got on, waiting for Ahnah.

"We have more room than we thought we'd have since a few people backed out late yesterday. I hope you're ready for the long haul, we're not going to stop till we reach our destination," the man said, climbing up onto the cart himself,"The road is a bit rough, but we make good time."

"We are ready, I hope we are, right Ahnah." she said with a smile.  "As long as we reach our destination, I think well be fine." she said.

"That we are. Better to ride a cart over rough roads than to walk them though. It'll save us time and energy," Ahnah said, nodding, "Given where we're going, we'll need as much energy as we can get."

Goldenscale nodded in agreement.  "We can always turn to a different direction if you still want to.  We don't have to go..." she said quietly, facing her with a frown.

"Wemight as well get this one out of the way as soon as we can. Saving it for last will only be a bad idea. Better I face my past as soon as I can, and get it out of the way than wait and dread the day we would need to go," Ahnah said, shaking her head, "We need as few worries as we can get away with. The elss we worry, the more we can focus on our journey."

"Seems like a sound plan to me. The open road isn't a place for worries," the man said, whipping the reigns to get the hourses moving, "Can't say i know whaat it is you're worried about, but i wish the best to you."

"Okay, I just wanted to make aure that you wanted to do this.  There is no point in doing something if you don't want to do it.  But at least we will be getting over one of the more hard parts of the journey now than later." she said with a nod.  She thwn looked at the man.  "We're traveling, so we're just planning for it." she said with a smile.
