"Have fun and enjoy yourself. There's stalls, food, and entertainment enough for everyone. Anything come come to own her will be there for you when you wake," Nefirian said with a bow, "You in particular are a special guest for bring about a new Mother Opus. As such, the prices at stalls are halfe their stated value for you alone. Just as a quick tip, this world is controled the the imagination. If you can imagine it, it exists here."

"So if I thought of your currency, though I don't know what it is truly, then it would appear?" she asked.

"For you and your friends, yes since you all have no way of gaining Valenthian currentcy. Here, take a single coin so you know what it looks like," he said, tossing a small gear shaped coin to Goldenscale, "This is called Kruss, it is our currency."

Godenscale studied the coin in her hand.  "So this is a currency..." she wondered to herself.  "Thank you, Nefirian." she said with a smile.

"It is my pleasure to have you here. Feel free call on me during your stay. I will be up on the balcony with my son Lyric'ai," he said, turning and heading towards a large set of stairs.

"The little ones are still within their dreams. That is why they are asleep here in this world," Mayumi said, nodding to the hatchlings and Ece being held in a strange warp in the realm, "They're held in their dreams until one of us wakes them. Nefirian did this sop parents can decide whether or not to expose their children to this type of celebration. There are ome things here that the young should avoid, but it wouldn't harm them that much should they see it."

"And those things are?" she asked.  She should at least know what she is getting herself into.

"Mostly it's just things you wouldn't want little ones seeing or hearing, like fighting or cursing. It can't be helped when there are this many people with such divers age groups and ethenicity. You have everything from fae to chimaera here. Humans and dragons, even the creatures of this realm are here," she said, nodding towards a table where several humans, elves, and lion like people were sitting, "You may want to stick around the stalls and buffet tables to avoid the kind of people who will cause trouble."

"I can deal with them." she said with a chuckle.  "Well, I'm going exploring." she said as she started wandering.

"Look out for Mossed and Hallomin for me. If you see them  tell them I'll be waiting for them near the band," she said before walking off away from Goldenscale.

"Where are we," Tieral asked, taking Alekai down from his head, "This place seems so unreal, but also so real. It feals almost like a dream here."

"That is a good question," Clair said, leaning against Ricken, wrapping her tail around his.

"We are at the Doctor's Ball, which is an event from another planet.  We are halfway between dreaming and reality here. " Goldenscale said with a smile.

Ricken held Clair close to him, nodding when Goldenscale had finished talking.

"That explains the strange feeling I'm getting here, and the reason I can actually talk here. They definitly know how o decorate here,'" Tieral asked, looking around at the brightly colored walls and decorations, "What was that guy talking about though? Who is this 'Mother Opus.'"

"What a strange place this is. This must be the between realm my mother always talked about, a realm somewhere between reality and the dream world," Clair said, looking around then down to herself. "Do you think the eggs will be alright should we participate in anything here," she asked looking up to Ricken, "I don 't want to o anything that will harm them."

"Do not worry dear, any harm that comes to you here does not carry over into the waking world. Dieing here will only wake you in the waking realm," a glass like creature said having overheard Clair's question, "Lord Dreamscar protects his guests, no matter who they are."

"Mother Opus is the heart of the world here, just like Moonlight is for ours.  I sort of helped her to come back since she was gone before..." she said with a chuckle.  Ricken nodded to the glass creature, which was a bit odd for him.  Goldenscale smiled.  "So you are made of glass?  What species are you?" she asked the creature, looking at him with wonder in her eyes.

"I am a vial leupak, and yes I am made of glass in a sense. My specific line of leupaks specialize in producing medical grade venom. Leupak venom can be tricky to work with so vial leupaks have been brought into existance to help doctors better work with the substance."

"Mother Opus is the being who controls and regulates this world's emotions. When she first died, the world became greatly more negative as she wasn't there to filter out the worst of it," a second creature said, stepping out from behind the vial leupak, "Fatis Mirajin is the spirit of Valenth. You met her when bring on a new Mother Opus."

"That's awesome." she said to the glass leupak.  "I guess I got them mixed up.  Sorry, I still have a bunch to learn." she said with an embarrassed laugh.

"No one will blame you for mixing them up, you are not of Valenth," the vial leupak said, nodding, "Now, why don't come in, relax, and enjoy yourself. That's what the Doctor's Ball is all about after all."

"So, does anything catch your eye here," Clair asked to Ricken, "Everything seems so strange and bright here in places, and dark and familiar in others."
