"They're more like people who will avoid conflic at all costs, trying to take targeted items from a person. The good ones will almost always be able to sneak up on you, but those are few and far between. Keeping focus on the world around you can greatly decrease the chances of one sneaking up on you," she said, Taking some wool off a new roll and one of the untouched bag to make a pillow, "Some of the more craft ones will engage you in conversation, and pickpocket you while you're distracted with their words. Those kinds usually stick around towns since their methods are harder to prove in a court."

"Oh, okay.  That makes sense.  Then we should probably keep on the lookout for thieves." she said as she folded the blanket and set it aside.

(I'm going to call it a night. You have a good one.)

"Yes, that would be the wise thing to do. If you can warn the caravan of a thief, the thieves will be less likely to attack. Once everyone knows a thief is about, they will be more attentive of their suroundings," she said, starting to pull another piece of wool apart and forming it into a ball, "Since we have plenty of extra material, go ahead and make whatever you think we could use. I'm going to work on a way to keep our water canteens from freezing."

(I think I will too. I can barely keep my eyes open..)

"Alright." she said.  She then took the material and began to make special gloves for their paws.  For her, they were sensitive to much more than the rest of the body, so she was going to assume that Ahnah's paws were as well.  She made sure that they would fit their hands and their paws during the journey.

Taking the wool and a canteen, she started weaving a case around the canteen. Using some of the cotton to hold the wool on, she took out her bone and began weaving an enchantment into the case..  "There, that should do it. Unless we get trapped under ice, these should keeper our water from freezing," she said, once she had finished the second canteen, "Unless there's something else you want to make, I think we have what we need for a while. We can take the rest of the day to relax or earn ourselves some traveling money."

When Ahnah finished talking, there was a light knocking on the door and the sound of excited feetfrom a hatchling.

She smiled.  "I think it's Nathan and his hatchling." she said as she went over to the door and opened it.

When Goldenscale opened the door, the hatchlingfell forward in a rollsince it was leaning again the door beforehand. With a laugh, Nathan picked the hatchling up.

"Well, hello Nathan. Come on in and have a seat, we were just finishing up our preparations," Ahnah saidfolding up her blanket and setting it aside.

"Thank you. I was wondering if you could teach me some of the ways of nature, and I wanted to thank you for speaking with my mom," Nathan said, stepping in and taking a seat in one of the empty chairs, "I also wanted to learn more about dragons in general."

"Hi, Nathan and hatchling." she said with a smile.  She then closed the door and went over to sit on one of the beds.  "Well, Ahnah would be more of a help with kniwing more about dragons than I, though I would be able to help you more with teaching you about Nature." she said with a purr.

"That's fine. Learning, no matter how, is good. I've decided to name this hatchling Taeru. It means to survive. I got it fromtranslating one of the symbols on the obalisk in the middle of town," Nathan said, setting Taeru down on the table, "I would like to start with nature though. I feel there are going to be thing taught there that will carry over to learning about dragons."

"You would be right there. Out of all the legendary species, dragons are the only ones who are capable of harnessing every element. Having a decent understanding of nature can make understanding dragons easier," Ahnah said, taking a piece of wool too small to use and tossing it ti Taeru to play with.

"Cute name of a cute hatchling." Goldenscale purred.  "Okay.  So what do you want to start with?  There are a lot of things related to Nature, and I'm not really sure what you want to learn about." she said with a smile.

"I'm not sure where I want to start myself. Maybe we should start with the basics, and go from there," nathan said, watching as Taeru caught the piece of wool and rolled around with it, "Better to build on a strong foundation than none at all, if what my old teacher says is true."

"What do you mean by the basics?  The basics of being connected to nature, or the basics of what Nature does itself?" she asked questioningly.

"I guess we should start with what nature does itself," he said, catching Taeru as she slipped off the side of the table and setting her back on top, "I knowvery little about nature other than what is taught in school. I understand how an ecosystem works, but not much beyond that."

Goldenscale sighed.  "They should really teach you all more about Nature in school.  There is just so much." she said shaking her head.  "Well, we all know that the plants and trees supply food for each other as well as any animals within the ecosystem, and that there are many types of ecosystems, but what people don't often know is that each individual rick, tree and plant has it's own soul that gives it a different aura.  Though the younger plants, maybe up to a century old, don't have developed spirits that can interact with everything the way that Willow or Moonlight..." she began.

Taking out a notebook and a pencil, Nathan began jotting down notes while he listened.

Stepping around the table, Ahnah picked Taetu up and moved her over to an empty part of the room where she began manipulating the ball of wool so as to make it move about for the hatchling to chase.
