"I see you found a place with the fabrbic we're looking for," Ahnah said, giving Goldenscale a pat on the back as she moved to see the woold and cotton.

"Ah, this must be Ahnah. I believe I saw her some ten years ago, when I first opened this shop. She was quite the popular one back then," the man said, giving Ahnah smile and nod, "I'm glad I can help someone such as you two."

She gave a chirp like sound of happiness at being helpful, even though she had no idea what she was looking for.  She then looked at Ahnah with a confused look.  "How were you popular back then?" she asked, interested in the topic.

"I like to help people. I would help whoever asked, and that spoke louder than I could have imagined at the time. It seems people still remember me in places around here," Ahnah said with a smile while she looked over the wool, "It's kind of nice knowing there are people who remember me."As for this wool here, we'll need as much as you can sell u."

"Well, for you I would give a discount since this shop wouldn't be here if not for your help," the man said, taking down several rolls of wool, "To purchase my entire sstock, it would cost ten thousand silver or five hundrad gold. This wool gos for fifty silver per foot."

"That's nice of you, Ahnah." she said with a purr.  She then flinched at the cost and muttured something in her favorite dead language.  "Do we have that, Ahnah?  I'd be willing to go back and see if we can get the money we need otherwise." she offered, referring back to the forest.  There were secrets the forest held and she could find their hidden treasures easier than anyone else.

"You'd be surprized at what I'd built up inmy time. trading things here and there, I've gotten more than enough gold to cover it,"Ahnah said, taking out a bag of coins and counting out the gold pieces till there was enough on the counter, "Being patient, and asking around can do wonders for one's coinpurse, and one's mind. you'll learn how to hagle and trade with people as we go. It's something that one can only learn by doing."

Taking a moment to coint the coins, the man smilled before handing over the bundled up rolls of wool. "Thank you so kindly. The woll is yours, and this gold will be put towards improving the shop and the local orphanage," he said, cointing out half and putting the two in different drawers, "If there is anything else you need, just ask."

She groaned at the sight of the money.  "To many numbers....  how can one keep track of them..." she said.  She then took some of the rolls of wool.  "But it is amazing how much you know, Ahnah.  "I don't know what I'd do without you." she said.

"It takes time to learn. Some people pick it up faster than others, but everyone can learn," Ahnah said, picking up the remaining rolls, "i don't know what you would have done, but I know you would have been lost and possibly confused." "Thank you for your business. We've got wha we need for now," she said, turning to the man, "If we need anything fabric related before we leave, we'll be sure to stop by again."

"It's been a pleasure. I wish the best of luck to you two," the man said, taking a towel and wiping off the counter, "I hope to see you again some time."

"I would be lost and confused...  probably even go mad.  I definitely wouldn't do very well." she said with a chuckle.  "At least I am learning a ton with you around."

"That you have been, and you will learn much more as we go. We can start on something while we're working with the wool," she said, holding the door for Goldenscale, "We can start with whatever you want."

"I don't know what to start on though." she said as she walked out.  "You choose.  I'll help, but choosing what to do right now is something I wouldn't be able to do." she said, shaking her head.

"Alright, we'll start with make a good stance for yourself in a new location. You'd be surprised what someone will do for you when they know you're of good standing or have helped others," she said, fallowing beside Goldenscale, "If it was possible to, I would bring you to the person who taight me the ways of the traveler, but he died long ago of old age. he passed what he knew on to me in hopes I would pass them onto many more."

"Okay.  And how will we do this?" she asked, curious.  She had never done something like this and she was wondering how it was done and what she would do for this.

"This is a really simple thing to learn. Once you know what to do, it's easy to use. Once we get back to our room, we can have some peace and I can teach you," she said, "A good way to get a good standing is to help the locals and local services like an orphanage or foodbank."

"Okay.  That's a good way to start." she said with a nod.  "But I don't know anywhere here..." she said with a sigh.

"That's why you should start by helping locals, and learning the lay of the city or town through them. It takes time learning what to look for, but it'll come to you eventually," she said as they reached the inn, "You can learn the layout of the town by listening to the locals and looking for town maps."
