"Well, good luck to you. You will need it," he said, stepping back to where he was when he cast the spell before it ended. "I was wondering where someone could get a dress like yours. My wife would love to have one," he said, "I don't believe I've seen that style around here."

"Well, I made this myself actually." she said with a proud smile.

"I see, well the craftmanship is very good to say the least," he said, taking out a small camera and taking a pitcture, "I'll have to get the tailor to attempt it some time. They could always use a challenge."

"Thank you." she said with a smile.  "If they can't, maybe I can make one for her sometime." 

"That would be nice. Well, thank you for your time, but I must be going, i just thought I'd ask," he said, giving a bow before turning to leave.

"OK? What was that all about," Ahnah asked,  watching the man walk away.

"I guess he just wanted to see where I got my dress.  I didn't think it would be different from any others..." she said with a shrug, sitting down next to Ahnah again.

"I guess. Anyways, we should probably look for some warm clothing and materials for our trip north. No need in letting either of us freeze to death out there," she said said, starting to write down a list os materials and supplies, "The blankets we have might not be enough for the realm beyond the village where the fortress is so we'llneed something that will help keep us warm."

"Okay.  I'll help you look for supplies, just tell me what we need and I'll get it." she said with a smile. 

"What we need is a lot of cotton cloth and something to bind it together with. We'll need to go through every general store and tailor, but there should be enough material here in town to work with. There will be plenty for us to pick up on the way there as well since there are a few towns between here and there."

"That's good.  So do you want to start looking for the supplies now, or figure out more about out destination first?" she asked.

"Concidering the amount of time we're going to be spending in a freezing region, I'll help you find the materials. We'll have ore time tonight to read up on the fortress," she said, closing her book and packing it into a bag with the other books she had found, "It's better to travel by day anyways. Thieves and barbarians like to travel at night since it gives them cover."

She nodded.  "Now off to find thestores and similar places." she said as she got up and waited for Ahnah.

"You can usually see if they have what you're looking for by looking though the front window at what they have. If you see cloth and string, that's a good sign that they will have cotton cloth and a binder," she said, standing up and taking out their room key, "I'm going to take these books to our room, I'll catch up with in a little bit."

"Okay..." she said as she then began to walk through town, looking at the windows to see if she could find what they were looking for.

Towards the center of town, a small shop with large wood spool hanging over the door rested. Through the window one could see all forms of fabric and threads along one wall, and several forms of sewingmachines lining the other.
