"Come on, you can't sleep all day. We still have a lot of preparing to do after all," Ahnah said, starting to nudge Goldenscale a bit harder, "This fruit wont last too long. If you don't wake up, I guess I'll just have to eat it."

Her ear perked up when Ahnah spoke.  "Kay." she said with a yawn when she woke up.  She then moved and picked the fruit she wanted.  "Okay, now you can eat." she said, about half of the fruit still there.

"I was kidding," Ahnah laughed, "I've already had my fill so you go ahead and have as much as you want. Anyways, I've been teaching Nathan about dragons in general. He seems to be picking it up well, but he still have a ways to go."

"That's good." she said as she began to eat one of the fruit.  Mmm, forest fruits.  She purred as she ate them.  She could live off of only vegetation if everyone let her.  They were delicious...

"Had to deal with his mother though. She's none too happy about him playing with the hatchling, let alone adopting it," Ahnah said, wincing as she pulled out something that was tangled in her fur, "I was able to convince her to let him keep it, but I don't think she's going to be too nice to the poor dear. His mother seems rather adamant about keeping him separate from the ways of nature."

She snorted.  "Well then.  I'm going to have to speak with her.  I could probably convince her." she said, getting up and stretching.  She wasn't too happy about this and was more than willing to try changing it.

"I will say this, she's a stuborn one. I think it kind of threw her when Nathan refused to wear the ring she had given him to diguise him,  so you might find a foot hold there to get started," she said, taking the ring and handing it to Goldenscale, "On that note, nathan wanted you to have the ring saying it would be of better use with you."

She smiled.  "Then I shall take good care of it.  I shall go change this then." she said as she flew off of the tower and on the street.  She then followed Nathan's aura until she found the house.  She then knocked on the door, using her magic to change herself to a human form.

"Come in, the door's unlocked. We're just having lunch," a voice said, muffled by the door and the distance from inside it came from, "Just be sure to wipe your feet before coming in, I just swept the floors."

Goldenscale opened the door, taking he shoes off as she entered.  "It is a nice home you have." she said.

"It is and I take great bride in keeping it clean. After protecting my son, it is the most important thing to me. You must be Lil, Nathan has spoken fondly of you and how you handle magic. I'm Canthrine, glad to meet you," she said, meeting Goldenscale at the entrance to the kitchen.

"Nice to meet you as well, Catherine." she said with a slight bow.  "He is a great boy, and he has so much potential." she said, looking at him with a smile.

"That is true, but sometime he gets ahead of himself. He sometimes wants to take on more than he's prepared for," she said, nodding to the hatchling sleeping in the corner, "He would do good to learn his limits and how to work with them."

She chuckled.  "That is true, but I can sense their bond, and it is strong.  Taking care of this hatchling will be easier than any other hatchling because of that bond.  They will learn how to work together quite efficiently soon enough.  I am sure of it." she said with a smile.

"It may be easier, but its needs will grow as it does. I do think it would be in better hands with the keepers or with its own kind. Nathan wont be able to take it with him to school as they don't allow pets in outside of specified events. he wont be able to provide for it for most of the day. I would help, but I have no clue what to do other than most dragons eat meat," she said, taking a towel and placing it over the hatchling's back, "Sometimes I think Nathan takes after his father by insisting  on taking on responsibilities he isn't quite prepared for."
