"Well I guess calling myself a spirit is stretching the truth a bit.  I have a physical body and I will die like everyone else, I'm just more different than them.  And I will take that to heart." she chirped, moving to fly underneath the Thordama.

"Your body may die, but your spirit will remain here, a piece of nature who upholds their position given to them. By extention, when your family dies, they will join you," the Throdama said, starting to glide, "All spirits of nature started out with a body, but time eventually took them from them."

"Is that so?" she said interested.  "But what if my family dies before I do?  WOuldn't they move on?" she asked quietly.  That was the entire reason why she was traveling now, to prevent that from happening.

"They will wait for you. Nature may be harsh, but it is also forgiving," he said, looking down to Goldenscale, "A spirit should never be alone."

"I agree.  No one should ever be alone.  We will be alone in birth and death, but there will always be another besides you." she said, quoting something Willow had taught her when she was younger.

"We throdama believe that the colony lives forever in the spirit realms. Those who lead a productive life, pass on into a real where they are rewarded for their hard life's work. Those who shirk their work, or cause dager to come to the colon, pass into a realm where they are punished for those deeds before being sent back lead a new life," he said, "We belive every species has its own realms where their spirits go to be rewarded or punished. For the spirits of nature, we believe they remain here in this real because their time has yet to come. They are waiting for the time when they are no longer need, for when their work is finally complete."

"I agree.  In my past life, I did many horrbile things to many, many creatures.  I was a lost soul, then Moonlight brought me back and gave me my life's objective.  No I have a purpose and I love living and profilling it." she said with a purr.

"Then your soul has seen the other side. Few ever get to remember what a past life was like. Nature truly has shown your soul the greatest kind of mercy," he said, "Few souls get to have such a grand chance at life."

"Having fun up there," Ahnah asked, her voice echoing in Goldenscale's mind as the Topaz crystal started to glow, "We're almost at the forest's edge. Kial's also wanting to ask you a few things."

Goldenscale chirped and went in a few circles.  "Were alrmost there!  Almost at my beautiful forest..." she said with a chirp.  "Talk to you later." she said to the Thordama.  "Wait, I never caught your name." she asked.

"We throdama prefer not tohave names. Only the queen of the colony needs a name," he said, "We use pheramones to identify each other. If you wat to talk with me again, just ask one of the others for the south scout leader."

"I'll find you again by your aura then.  Alright then, I'll see you later." she said with a smile.  She noticed that each Thordama did have a slightly different aura than the next, so she was going to use that.  She then did a steep dive towards the ground, landing gracefully and walking besides Kial.  "I heard you have some questions."

"Well, I'm just curious how you came to know Ahnah. I can sense a bond between you two that, though it is young, runs deep," Kial said, turning to look at Goldenscale, "I'm also wondering if you might know anything about a, for lack of better words, strange dragon that might be living in the forest. Last we saw of her was when the necromancer Archen attacked her and her daughter."

"She was an enforcer when I got to the cave, and I chose her along with two others when I was inducted to the council.  From there, I became friends with her and you know the rest.  As for the strange dragon, she is my adoptive mother.  Archen is now death, as I think you know, because he threatened to hurt her and I killed him for it.  He was annoying and he honestly did a lot to make me angry as well..." she said with a frown.  "But on a happier note, she now has three other hatchling besides me."

"I see, so that''s why Archen disappeared. Can't say we relied on him for anything short of him just holding down a outpost. The only reason we didn't get rid of him ourselves is that he was able to block everything we sent his way," Kial said, thinking beofre looking back up with a smile, "I'm glad she was able to find peace in the forest. I assume she found a mate."

Hearing the last note, Ahnah briefly froze before looking to Goldenscale herself.

Goldenscale gave Ahnah a confused look, wondering why she was looking at her, but she looked down sadly.  "That she did, but he died recently from an unknown cause..." she said quietly.
