"Leaving home for the first time is like that for everyone. Most people will leave their home for  a stretch  of time before returning to sleep. It's something one learns to cope with when they get a place to live for themselves for the first time. It's always nice to return to where you were raised every once in a while though" Kial said, fallowing beside Goldenscale, "If you're having trouble keeping your senses clear of other auras, you might try focusig on spressing that part of your mind when it gets to be an annoyance. It should allow you to completely block the auras from your mind."

"Just remember, we've got a lot farther to travel before we can even think we've made progress," Ahnah said, " catching up with Goldenscsale, "When we get back, I have a book we need to read through. It'll possible help us find what you're looking for."

"I can't block the auras...  One of my duties as a nature spirit is to purge the world of dark spirits, and those are the auras I feel everywhere, even though they aren't really here..." she said quietly to Nathan.  "Okay, reading is good..." she said to Ahnah.  "Even more so whe it has something to do with our journey..."

"Yes, I found the book in Tyler's library so there's no need to returne it," Ahnah said. Looking to Nathan, she smilled, "At least we know the only orphan from that horrible man has found a good friend in Nathan."

"That is a good thing to hear. Nathan has more potential than he realizes, and more than his mother will admit. He has a wealth of kenetic magic stored in his mind, he just needs to learn to harness it," Kial said, rolling a shard of ebony material in his palm, "He would make a great Beastkeeper, especially if he's bonded so quickly with that hatchling."

"It is nice seeing that.  Their bond is strong now, think about how strong it will be if they remain together throughout their lives.  He has a good soul." she said with a purr.

"Hopefully his mother wont raise too much of a stink over him taking in that hatchling. It may be a huge resposibility , but he would be the best one to take the hatchling in. With his connection with a guardian of the eternal jungle, he has the closest link to nature in the entire town," Kial said, "I doubt she will complain too much when we take him under our guidence to teach him to be a keeper. He'll be taken out of school, but he'll be learning more than he could ever through the school system."

"Nature could teach him what they would learn in school." she blurted out, shutting her maw soon after.  "Well, it's only a suggestion since they have been around for such a long time and they know most of what humans know..." she said quietly.

"He already knows the basics of everything he needs to know for life. We'll just be teaching  him what he needs to know to be a beastkeeper. We have morals and rules to keep us from abusing our companions that need to be tought," Kial said, putting the ebony shard in a pocket within his coat, "While I doubt he'll need to be told, he will be better off knowing what he can and can not do. We'll also teach him what a beastkeeper duties are. He'll also need to hone his inner magic. That will come with time though. Having the hatchling with him will provide him with a good source of magical knowledge and discipline."

Goldenscale nodded in understanding.  She then smiled, a bit of her childish side coming out as she had an idea.  She then went over to one of the Thordama, and in hopes of it play chasing her, she pounced on it, gently landing on its back and jumped off again before running off.  She looked back as ran to see if she was being followed.

Looking over to Goldenscale, the Throdama tlted its head  while staying in its position. After a moment, it returned to its pace.

"You'd get a better response from one of the scouts. They're up in the air patroling the lads around us to wach for danger. There's more than enough of them to keep us safe," Kial chuckled before pointing to one of the throdama in the air, "You'd get an even better respons from one of he younger scouts. Just look for the smaller ones."

Goldenscale nodded then jumped in the air.  She then found on of the small flying Thordama and did the same thing to them that she did to the one on the ground.  She then flew away, chirping happily, looking behind her occasionally as she flew to see if it was following her.

Taking the que, the Throdama playfully chased after Goldenscale, rising high and diving down in an attempt to catch her.

Goldenscale chirped happily as she was chased, trying to keep herself slow enough that the Thordama would eventually catch her.  She did get some aerial practice in while she was being chased around.  She even tried flying backward so she could look at the Thordama as it chased her.

"You're faster than you let on," the Throdama said when it got within reach, his butterfly like wings pushing him ever closer, "You are not like most nature spirits. Most have a distinct lack in interest in having fun."

Goldenscale slowed down a little more.  "The moon chose me to be a nature spirit, though she didn't really do anything to alter me otherwise." she said.  "And I am still quite young, well I act quite young anyways..." she said with a purr.

"Don't let time take away that state of mind. Too many spirits have grown to the poin of constant serious behavior," the Throdama said, finally bumping his head against Goldenscale's side, "Always remain young at heart. That is the key to eternal youth."
