"If you need help, I'll be around here." she said to her with a nod.  'This kind of thing is unforgivable.  If I was in my normal form, I would make him regret ever doing this to all of these noble beasts.' she said to Ahnah telepathically so no one else would hear.  She then went to the nearest adult creature and began to link herself to it so that she could free them.

"They who and what I am. Tyler will feel my full wrath," Ahnah said as she rested Tyler from the keeper's hold, "He's had his way with nature's link, I will hit him with what nature will do to him." As Ahnah dragged the former keeper off, she slowly let the diguise fade.

"So, it was her afterall. Last we saw her was nearly twenty years ago. She doesn't look any older now than she did then," the leader said, watching Ahnah dragg off Tyler.

"Dragons are like that." Goldenscale said with a smile.  She continued with her work.

"I believe you are more than you appear as well. Your aura is much stronger than that of a human's like ours," he said, flinching slightly as a loud roar roled in through the open door, "We will definitly be more careful about choosing someone to replace Tyler than we were when shoosing him. We wish not to see this kind of damage done again."

"You are correct about me not being as I seem.  I am a nature spirit that can take on many forms.  This is just one of them.  And my power is much greater than I show." she said, revealing herself as she worked.  She frowned as she saw all of the creatures.  "It saddens me to see such noble creatures treated so horribly.  I trust you all in treating your companions well." she said.  She was roughly a bit taller than the humans on both her legs, even more so when she stood on her hind legs.  "I also trust you all enough not to capture me and study me.  I have my own duties here upon Earth."

"We have no reason to capture you. There is nothing we need from one such as yourself, andwe would rather ask or work something out," he said, stepping back as roots began gathering around the dragons who's auras were too far gone, "We can agree with you though. No creature, no matter how simple or complex deserves to be treated like these poor souls have been. Nothing deserves the damaged they have endured."

"No, they don't.  And I heard from a traveler that some people wanted to capture the beast that made that barrier over the forest." she said.  She watched, connecting herself with nature and making her eyes turn a bright green.

"Word can get around fast, and can be changed just as fast. What you heard was probably some person trying to relay our efforts to get through the barrier and interpreting those attempts as trying to capture the source. If anyone was trying to capture anything, it would have been Tyler," he said, as the other keepers spread out to break the locks on the stables, "Now that we know that we can get through peacfully, we nolonger need to try breaking open the barrier. Any stories about us trying to capture the source will die off within the next few weeks."

"But there are rules to going in peacefully and I'll relay them to you when we get to the barrier." she said.  She then moved to another creature and started working on freeing it.

"There are rules to everything. Even the smallest acts of nature , like wind,  fallow specific and defined rules. It's to be expected," he said, working to pry open the stables holding the hatchlings, "Everyone in this town knows to expect there to be rules when something needs to be done. Without them, jobs and construction would be chaos."

"I would think so.  Even the dragons have rules as well as regulations for everything.  The council makes all of them as well as the laws, regulations, etc. to keep the cave in order.  The Gryphons have something similar as well, but it varies from that of the dragons." she said, using her magic to unlock the lock keeping the hatchlings in the pen.

"So, there is a dragon community within the forest. We always thought there was one in the region, but never did we think it would be so close. I'm glad we never found it while Tyler was one of us," he said, stumbling back as the lock gave way, "Maybe we can work out a treaty or aliance one day. For now, we'd best focus on covering the hole Tyler left behind."

"I would also like to be there when you do, since knowing all of you might help you in the longrun.  Maybe you should try making the treaty in a year when I'll be back." she suggested.

"It will likely take that long for us to find someone who can replace Tyler, and to get them versed in proper respect for their companions," he said, catching himself on a beam, "We'll wait for your return before trying anything though."

"That would be a wise choice." she said, finishing up with freeing the creatures.
