"I would like to start with the stables. If his 'companions' are anything like Midnight was, they'll need releasing," Ahnah said, "They do not deserve to suffer any longer if the case is the same."

"In that case, the stable doors are around back. The doors should be able to be pushed open," the keeper said, letting the others go in before him.

"I shall accompany her then." she said with a nod.  She had a valid point, and she was willing to start now. She then started walking to the doors.

"We should start be looking for auras to see which ones need our attention first," Ahnah said, pulling apart the chain wrapped around the stable's doorhandles, "If there are any who still retain an intact aura, they will be able to recover without our help. Those with broken auras will need our help first. Depending on how broken the aura is, I can possible reconnect them with nature without fusing them with a piece of nature."

"Understood." Goldenscale said with a nod.  She made sure her aura was open to the ones inside the stable.

As Ahnah stepped from stable to stable, she took in the auras around her to determine the ones in most need of attention. In the stalls lining the back of the building, several hatchlings laid, their auras faint and near breaking while their parents' auras were broken or starting to break. In the stall just to Goldenscale's right, the aura of a middleaged gryphon flared up.

"Is that you? Konoki's little dragon girl,"the gryphon asked, "Be careful, there's a beastkeeper around here, capturing and breaking dragons."

"I have taken care of him.  I plan on freeing as many of you as I can." she said, walking over to the gryphon and holding her hand out.  "I have already freed one of his dragons and if the other beastkeepers disapprove of this, then I can free all of you."

"They can;t let him get away with this. He's working harder ever since Archen was destroyed. He keeps going on about destroying whatever destroyed his father, starting with the forest," the gryphon said, carefully pulling himself up, "I regret never learning your name. I can't properly thank you for finding me." Looking over to Ahnah, he studdied her as she went to work healing the hatchlings, "Who is she, if you don't mind me asking."

"I am Goldenscale, or Shazhra as Konoki named me.  This is a friend of mine and her name is Ahnah." she said with a bow.  "And he will never break through the forest.  The barrier I placed around it is too strong.  It is composed of hundreds of other creatures strengths as well." she said with a chuckle.

"That's good to hear. It's also good to see someone as in tune with nature as you.  This world needs more people like you," he said, using a talon to undo the latch on his stable, "I'll need some rest once I get back home. For now, I'd best get out of your way here. There are others here that need your help more than I do."

"Say hello to Konoki for me then if you see him." she said with a smile bedore going back to searching the stables.

"I will. Safe traves to you," he said before heading out.

"You  mind helping me with these hatchlings," Ahnah asked once the gryphon was out the door, "I just need someone to help focus the energies in their auras so they can reconnect with nature. All you'll need to do is provide them with a little energy."

"I shall do just that then." Goldenscale said with a nod.  She then singled out all of the hatchling's auras and connected her's slightly to theirs to give them energy.  She tried to make herself seem unthreatning.

As Ahnah worked o restor the hatchlings, the keepers walked in while keeping Tyler in the center of the group.

"OK, that's the last straw. Once these misfortunate souls have been restored, we'll take care of ou tyler," the leader said, looking around at each dragon before looking to Tyler.

Goldenscale looked at the people, but she went back to looking at the hatchlings.

After a few minutes, Ahnah lowered the last hatchling back into the nest as it reconnected with nature. "There, now we can move onto the parents of the others here," she said, turning to Goldenscale, "You can handle them, I'm going to deal with Tyler now. This kind of thing can't be justified."
