"I can, but I'll only be able to carry three people," Midnight said with a nod, "We can go now if you wish."

"The transport can come later, for now, we conly need passage to be confirmed for now. The hunters and foragers aren't awake just yet," the Keeper said, noting the flower in Midnight's chest, "Can I ask what the flower is? It doesn't seem like the normal black lily."

"That it is not.  Since that newbie you have, Tyler had taken away Midnight's connection to nature, this special flower was planted there to ensure she lived as well as have a connection to nature." she explained.  "It would probably be a good idea to go to the forest later then so that everyone can hear what the conditions are for being let in.  Even I know there are rules for what you can do inside the forest." she said with a shrug.  "I do suggest doing as they ask."

"Aside form Tyler, we always try to respect nature as much as we can. Tyler will learn how to do so as well, or we'll make sure he does no damage to speak of," the keeper said, "We can wait til then. The gatherers wil not be active until a few hours from now. That'll give us time to deal with Tyler, and prepare for the trip to the forest."

"Alright.  I'm glad I can help.  If you don't mind, could I see what creatures you have when they wake up?" she asked curiously.

"You'd have to go to each one of our places for that. We each keep track of our creatures separately. I personally let mine choose to either set up in a stable I've had made for them, or to find a place themselves. We've all learn how to call out parteners from wherever we might be," he said, "Some of them prefer to stay at the reserve we all share."

"Makes sense.  I'm glad they have more than one option." she said with a smile. 

"Having an option is always nice. It gives them a sense of actually having a home. While they're not expected to hunt or gather food, we do send them to complete contracts so we can continue to supply them with food and medical care. From time to time, we get a squad together to hold an area on the battlefield," he said, "In all, we try to do everything we can to keep them in good health. We never overwork them, and children and pregnant mothers never work."

"Sounds like you all treat them well.  I'm glad.  What kind of creatures do you all have?" she asked.  "Do you favor any one beast for another?"

"I focus on dealing with Throdama and Symurgh. Everyone else focuses on the others. Tyler however may have lost his rights as a keeper. We're about to go check how he keeps his dragons. Depending on how they're treated, he could either loose everything, or only be left with the minimum possible supplies and have his dragons taken from him," he said as one of the other keepers punched Tyler before he could protest, "The Throdama wake early, and are almost like ants in the way they opperate, so they'll be the first you'll see when  you visit my reserve and stables."

"I have yet to see what a Thordama looks like.  I have seen all the creatures, only one Symurgh, but no Thordama yet." she said with a frown.

"Throdama are fairly new to this region so that's not surprising. The best way I can describe them is a mixture between bees, wasps, ants,and butterflies coupled with the size of the average dragon. Once they get their sights set on something, they will send the whole colony to accomplish the task," he said, pulling out a card with the picture of a common worker Throdama and handing it to Goldenscale, "The majority of a colony consists of workers like this one. The other varients don't come out unless they're needed."

"Ah, is that so.  They look like a very interesting species.  So do you have an entire colony that work on the most difficult jobs?" she asked.  They looked graceful to her, in the way that they were posed.  

"When the harder jobs come along, yes. So far, they're the only species of legendary beast that goes through a metamorphic phase before becoming adults. The Colony works day and night to make sure the hive remains in top condition. Last I checked, the colony I keep had already cleared out several miles of tunnels underground. I can only assume they've expanded since. Their presence doesn't seem to harm the earth though, it actually seems to make the ground more fertile," he said, opening a box of card, and flipping through them, "You'll see what I mean when you get there."

"Maybe.  Well, I should leave you all to prepare." she said with a smile.  "We'll be in town looking for supplies if you need us." she said as she started walking back to town.

"Wait, we'd like you to join us in searching Tyler's grounds. You might sense something we don't," he said as the other keepers gathered around Tyler and lifted him, "Your friend and Midnight are welcome to come as well."
