"We should get breakfast now, they'll be expecting you there when the sun finally rises beyond the horizon," she said, changing into her day cloths, "Knowing them, they might already be there waiting."

"And I shall be there shortly." she said, opening the door for Ahnah.

"It's a good thing the innkeeper here gets up way earlier than his other employes and is the cook here," she said, seeing the innkeeper cooking something over the bonfire in the center of the main room, "Let's hope he's a good cook."

"Yeah.  If not, I could always find a wild plant and ask it if it is safe to eat." she said with a shrug,following Ahnah.

"That's true. Whatever we do, the food will be good," she said, stopping at the opposite end of the bonfie as the innkeeper, "Might as well get warm while we're at it too."

"Well, aren't you two lovely ladies up early," the innkeeper asked with a smile as he stirred the pot of vegies, "The vegies will be done in a few minutes. They go great with the ham and your selection of fruit."

"Great.  Thank you." Goldenscale said happily.  Thefood already smelled delicious, and she was eager to try some of it.  "So once we are do e with our errand, what are our plans for the rest of the day?" she asked Ahnah.

"We could ask around town for rumors or legends that may help us, or we could go to the local library and search the books/ Either one, we'll find something of use," Ahnah said, picking up a metal rod and poking the wood in the fire a few times to move it around, "Some of the locals may also cary supplies we will need along our travels, so it would be worth asking around for that as well."

"Agreed.  And seeing that one of us knows next to nothing about what we're looking for, it would be a good idea to do some research on the topic.  Maybe we should get a couple more rations while we are at it as well..." she suggested, watching the fire.  She was so tempted to make the fire do something creative, but she kept herself together enough not to do that.

"True, we might spend a few days here just to get everything we can and need. We might spend some time teaching Midnight some things while we're at it. I'm sure she would love to actually learn something instead of having battle rutiens forced on her," she said, replacing the metal rod where she got it, "Food and other supplies should be easy to find in stores and out in the fields. Stuff like clothing, first aid, and flint will be more easily traded for."

"Whatever you think we need.  I haven't been traveling as long as you." she said with a smile.  "I am much less experienced with items needed for long travels.  I think it would do some goot for Midnight to learn as well.  We could both pool our knowledge to teach her."  She shrugged and leaned back, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Between the two of us, there will be plenty of knowledge to go around for Midnight. As for the stuff we'll need, that wont be too much of a problem. What we need is stuff we would need on a daily basis, but in greater quantities and made of tougher materials," she said, picking one of the coals  up from the edge of the fire pit, "Charcoal will be good for several things. Easy to come by, and easy to work with."

"Well, if you two are ready, the food is ready. Just pick up a plate, and get what you want. The meal is already paid for by your stay here," the innkeeper said, after tasting the vegies and nodding, "Just tell me if there is anything you find missing or need."

"Alright." she said with a kind smile.  She then rabbed a plate and a little bit of everything.  He was right, it was delicious and the flavors blended well together.  She wished she knew how to do this.  Everything was so tender and flavorful as well, which she loved.  

Grabbing herself  a little of everything as well, Ahnah sat beside Goldenscale and enjoyed her meal, occasionally taking a moment to just enjoy the flavor. "This is definitly something I need to learn. I'll be sure to put cooking on my list of things to learn," she said after finishing her plate, "What about you Lily? Think it would be worth learning?"

"Of course.  The flavor is exquisite and I absolutely love how well it goes with each other." she said happily.

"Then we'll look for a few cookbooks in  our travels. The food is different in each regoin, and even from town to town," she said, placing her plate on the counter, "I guess we'd best be going, the sun will be rising soon."
