"So long as I am in this forest, it has my protection. This spirit that told me to come here was the spirit of the waters. He said  there was a dragon not of this world who is in need to a reconnection with nature," he said, glancing over to where Chiei was hiding, "He said this dragon is a mother in need of help and counciling. She is one of broken heaart and near broken mind."

"That would be her." she said as she pointed to Mayumi.  "She has lost much during her life here, both her mates as well as one of her children." she said with a frown.

"What a shame it is for stuff like that happening. Hearing that, I'm suprised she is even resisting the ever looming threat of suicide in her mind. It also makes the threat seem very justified  in its placement," he said, walking over and pressing his forehead against Mayumi's and feeling her thoughts, "Her mind is very troubled, but family is the only thing holding her together. How long has she dealt with this depressoin? It seems to run very deep."

"I don't know...  I've only known her for a few weeks and her depression has been present since.  It might have begun when she lost her first mate, but I can only guess..." she said quietly.

"She's been depressed ever since her father got killed by a cave in. It wasn't anything that interfeared with her life, but it started then," the flarion said, starting in on another barrier, "I didn't want to contribute to the pain when I died. I didn't want her to think it was her fault that the infection got as bad as it did. We didn't have the materials or magic to heal it so I used what little strength I had left and ended my pain. My decision probably wasn't the best for her state of mind, but it was better than letting her se me slowly die in pain."

"She worried about you Goldenscale. Once you're done with you game, I want you to come over here for a moment," Kian'Iel said, pulling his head back from Mayumi's, "Her mind is in a state of stasis at the moment so don't worry about speeding your game along."

She nodded.  She then picked up Gian and Frost and went to look for Ece, Falinx, and Chiei.  She quickly searched the forest and found Ece in a tree, looking like leaves.  She nuzzled her.  "Found you, Ece." she siad with a chuckle.

Ece chuckled as she dropped from the branch, releasing the guise and grabbing onto Goldenscale's nose. "It took you long enough," she said, hugging Goldenscale, "What is that creature you were talking to?"

"That is a Symurgh.  He and his kind are new to this forest." she said with a smile.  "His name is Kian'lel."  She then went searching for Chiei, following in the direstion that he had looked in to find her.  She then pounced on her gently.  "Found you too, Chiei." she said with a laugh. 

"You had help, but it was unwarented. I'll let you have this one," Chiei said, phasing back out into intangibility, "I'll be waiting by Mom."

"We'll try again after I find Falinx." she said as she went looking for her sister.

Sitting among some thick boshes, Falnix held her breath as she watched Goldenscale walk by.

Goldenscale heard the gasp and quickly turned around, picking her up and hugging her.  he then nuzzled her stomach.  "Found you." she said.

Falinx let out a surprised chirp before returning the gesture. Standing up, she jumped up to rest on Goldenscale's back where she curled up.

"Well first, do you want to kow what troubles her so much," Kian'iel asked , digging his claws into a few f the barriers and pulling, "If not, then what would you want to know about her worries?"
