"I look forward to it." she said with a smile.

"We do to. It is better to meet us in person than by projection. Good luck," Gladekeeper said before sinking into a tree and disappearing.

With a nod, Windsinger faded away as a gust of wind blew through the forest.

Goldenscale walked back inside with a smile and began to make sure that they had whatever they needed.

"You felt them too didn't you," Ahnah asked, keeping her voice low to avoid waking Ece or Alekai, "Two of the elemental spirits were somewhere close by. You must have seen them while you were out there."

"I was speaking with them for some of the night." she said with a smile.

"Something left this in the willow," Ahnah said with a nod as she held out a small emerald marble, "It seems to be emitting a field of calming energy."

"So this is what they were talking about..." she said with a smile as she gently took the gem.  "They said I earned this."

"I agree with them, you deserve a little peace in your soul with everything that has been going on lately" she said with a smile, "If anything, it will help us keep a level head about us on the journey.Many adventure end fataly because the person fails to keep calm and panics."

"This is my journey, and I need to fufill it to the best of my ability." she said with a nod.

"Correction, it is our journey, and we will both give our best," Ahnah said, holding up a single claw, "We will give our best and make those who care about us proud."

Goldenscale smiled.  "True, and I have much faith that we won't give up." she said.

"As do I," Ahnah said as  the first beams of sunlight entered the room. "We need to gather what we'll be taking with us. Mayumi is probably getting her things for us ready as well."

"It is a good idea.  We shall have to leave soon..." she said as she gathered the bags.

"I've packed all the materials and supplies we might need for the first few weeks. We'll have to work to keep a decent food and water supply on hand. Once we reach the first human settlment in our travels, we can stoc k up on supplies once more, and possibly get better equipment while we're at it," Ahnah said, folding a few articles of clothing, some brightly colored and other being dull, "I've also made us a few sets of human cloths for when we need them."  "Oh, I almost forgot, there was a light shining though that emerald when I found it. The beam that passed through landed on Ece's pearl. While I'm no interpreter of nature, I know a possible sign when i see one," she said, nodding over to the table where Ece's pearl was, "With Ece being your daughter, I'm leaving checking the pearl to you. I know she trusts both of us, butshe has placed more with you."

"Then I shall check it." she said as she went over to the place where Ece had her pearl and began to inspect it.
