"So long as you remain yourself, we will not hold anything against you. It is hard to remember everything that life throws at you, only some of the machines humans made can do that, and that is still can have faults," she said, placing the rune back in her bag, "Even nature can't remember everything, that is the realm of the arcane. Everything leaves a print in the arcane streams, forever preserved in time."

"We should go home then...  Mom and Tieral are probably wondering where we are..." she said.

"That sounds like a good idea. It would be nice to get back to people who care after a day spent sitting in the snow thinking about the dangers of the world," she said, nodding, "I didn't mean to cause you all to worry about me, but cold places help me calm down and relax."

"We all need places to calm down, just like Willow helps me to relax." she said as she began to walk.  "Hey Ahnah, want to race?" she asked.

"No thanks, not this time. I'm going to look for something to eat since I hadn't had anything to eat since early this morning. I'll meet you back at Mayumi's in a few minutes. It wont take me long to find something," she said, as her stomach growled, "Seem you then."

"Alright.  See you soon." she said as she began to walk home.

"So, did you find Ahnah," Tieral asked once Goldenscale got back, "I assume she's alright.

"Yeah, just a bit worried about the journey." Goldenscale said with a smile.

"Her worry isn't unwarented. There's no telling what you might run into out there," Tieral said, catching Ece  in his arms and Alekai with his tail, "I don't blame her for being worried. I wouldn't want to be back out in the world alone like I was when she found me."

"But she isn't alone." she said as she went over and grabbed Alekai before nuzzling him.

"I know, but there is always the chance that you two will get separated along the way. The world is still an intimidating place with only two people. It can be intimidating to even the largest of armies," he said, pulling Ece's pearl from his bag and handing it back to Ece, "Knowing her, something probably happened during her travels that she still isn't quite over yet though. Every time I asked her about her travels, she would go on until coming to certain spots and skip ahead."

"She's afraid of the Grim Reaper, but I am as well.  And I hope I hope we don't get separated..." Goldenscale says with a frown.

"Everyone is, but that's not what I'm talking about. She's spoke of her encounter with the reaper and how another dragon took her place. When I asked about the other dragon, she stop and try to bring it somewhere else in her travels," Tieral said, seing Ahnah walk in,"Seeing as she is back now, we can now heaad back home."

"Yeah." she said as she went over to Ahnah.  

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow Mayumi," Tieral said, looking briefly to Mayumi. Placing Ece on his back, Tieral started out.

"What were you two talking about," Ahnah asked, watching Tieral walk out the door.
