"And we'll miss you. Why don't you take Ece and Alekai and look for something for Ece to eat while I get something cooked up for everyone else. I don't really have any recepies for insect meals," Mayumi said, opening the door into the shop, "It'll be a little while before I have the food ready so take your time."

"Alright.  See you in a little bit, Mom." she said as she picked up Alekai and Ece.  "Come on, you two.  Let's go look for some food for Ece."

"I might as well go with you. Ece and Alekai are my children as well," Tieral said, meeting Goldenscale at the door, "So, were do you plan to start?"

"Under fallen trees and large rocks are good places to start looking. Usually anyways," Ece said, climbing up onto Goldenscale's head, "We might try looking in some of the hallows in the other trees."

"Alright." she said as she began to search for the bugs.  Ece was right, and she found quite a few underneath the rocks and roots of the trees.

"I think we've found enough," Ece said, climbing down from the tree she was in with Alekai, "This should be enough for a few days at that."

She sighed.  "Too bad I'll be leaving tomorrow morning..." she said.  She went over and picked up Ece and Alekai.  "Let's go home then." 

"I wonder what Mayumi has cooked up for you and everyone else," Ece said, taking one of the beetles, "I wonder if it would be alright for me to try it. I've never tried eating anything other than insects before."

"We'll see what Mayumi has cooked up first before asking her. She's got more information about faes than I do," Tieral said, taking a few leaves and folding them into a small bag to put the insects in.

"Well, you are welcome to try anything, Ece." she said to the fae.   "Depending on the type of food that is..."

"Well, you wont have to worry about the food being child frriendly or not. I decided to keep it simple and made steak and potatos with seasoning. Eveyone will be able to enjoy it," Mayumi said, meeting Goldenscale and Tieral at the door, "Fae mostly eat insects, but those of three years or older tend to start drifting to other food choices. Most still stick with insects, but you get the point. Ece will be able to have some if she so wishes."

"That's great," Ece cheered, "I'll be careful though."

"Great.  Another amazing meal." she said with a smile.  "Thank you, mother."

"I do my best, no matter what I do. What point is there if you don't give your best at everything you do," Mayumi asked with a smile as she stepped aside to let them in, "While you eat, I'll be working on some potions for your journey. You'll find them quite useful."

"Alright.  Thanks again, mom." she said as she went to get some of the food.  "You want to try any of this, Ece?" she asked her.

"I would like to try some," Ece said, climbing down onto the table.

"I'll get a small plate put together for you then," Mayumi said, patting Ece on the head before stepping around the table over to the counter where the food was.

"You can have a few pieces of mine to try then." she said as she handed a piece of meat to Ece.

Taking the piece of meat, Ece bit off a mouthfull. After a few moments she swallowed. "It's good. It's a bit tougher than I'm used to, but I like it," she  smiled, "I'd like mroe,but it might take me a while to eat it all."

"That's alrght, you'll get used to the toughness of meat compared to insects. You have plenty of time to eat, it's not like we're in a hurry for anything," Mayumi said, setting a small plate of food down for Ece. "So, anything you want to do in particularly," she asked turning to Goldenscale.
