Goldenscale listened to Deniigi as he spoke, she too somewhat distraught by the thought of families and friends never seeing another because their relations were much farther apart than before.  She then felt a pang of lonliness when Deniigi began to speak ofnSpirit born breeds.  Deniigi, Ahnah, Aipaloovik and many others were born from the Icewarden and were Spirit born, just like Midnight was a child of the Shadowbinder and had many other brothers and sisters the same, but where were the others like her?  She hadn't heard Moonlight speak of any other Spirit borns like here, born of Moon.  At this point she didn't know how to respond to the conversation, looking at the ground instead with a faraway look in her eyes, and her ears back in thought.

"If anything, you're more like those saved by the Sun or Moon spirits than other spirit born breeds. While you do have a tie to the Icewarden, it is thin. Those saved by the Sun or Moon spirits are usually free to go where they please like your kind are while the Spirits normally only watch from afar," Kaden said before noticing Goldenscale go into thinking. "That reminds me, what is your tie to the spirits Goldenscale," he asked, turning to her, "I meant to ask you while we were still inside the Fortress."

Goldenscale kept her head down, understanding what Kaden was saying.  So Moonlight wasn't a part of the group of elemental affinities, and was in another partnership entirely.  She then looked up when Kaden asked her a question but she looked down.  "I am a child of the Moon." she said quietly.  "Does that mean that there are no others like me?" she asked.  "Moonlight never speaks of any others like me..."

"Maybe not any that share the same genetic linage. There are many who have been given a second chance by the Moon, but none have had any semblence of connection with each other. Moonlight would be able to answer that one more completely than me though. Last I heard, neither Moonlight or Sunlight had made a breed to represent them in the world. They had both been rather partial to dealing with things themselves," Kaden said, "All I can say is that there's likely others all across the world who are tied to nature as you and Midnight are due to being saved by Sun or Moon."

Goldenscale listened, then sighed when Kaden said that Moonlight most likely didn't make a breed to represent her because she didn't want to deal with that.  "I can understand why she wouldn't want to create a breed to represent her.  She's had to try and keep everything in balance.  Technically I should be helping her because I watch over a specific forest for her.  But I guess there is a reason for everything, and I'll get my answers eventually.  Thanks for helping me understand, Kaden." she said with a smile.

"It has been quite a long time since I last met either Moon or Sunlight so I would take what I say with a grain of salt. It's quite possible that  they could have made changes to that since then. When I met them, they were more than content to speak with those who needed them, and in turn, didn't need a breed to represent them. I'm glad I could at least shed a little light though," Kaden said, looking to the door when it opened.

Covered in snow, both Alignak and Corazon made their way over to the fire. After a minute, Alignak looked to Goldenscale before speaking. "Ahnah wanted me to say that she'd be lagging behind us a little due to making a stop at the Fortress of Ends. She should be here within the next hour," he said, sending a small burst of magic to close the door, "I can't say I understand her motives, but there was nothing I could say to convince her to wait till the weather cleared again."

Goldenscale gave a nod and smiled as a thought came to her.  "Hey, I could call her.  I'm sure she'd come.  She's never denied me before, so I'm sure she'd come if I asked her to." she said with a purr.  She then turned her head to the door as Alignak and Corazon entered.  It felt nice feeling tons of auras around her, auras that weren't depressed or anything.  She then frowned w when Alignak said Ahnah would be coming later.  "But what if she gets stuck outside?  I won't know if she gets hurt of if something'd happened.  And then what if she needs help?  There are tons of ways that things can go wrong when it comes to snow..." she said, getting up and pacing.  She knew better than to worry, but she couldn't help it.  She loved Ahnah and she hated snow, and she wouldn't be able to bear it if anything happened to her with the weather as it was.

"Knowing Ahnah, she'll be fine. She has the will of the spirits at her side given her training. Pair that with the fact that she's built to survive these lands, and there's little reason to worry about her. However, if she doesn't make it back in the next hour or so, I'm going to personally go out and look for her," Alignak said, , combing the snow from Corazon's fur  while she did the same to him.

"If it helps keep you calm, I'd be happy to meet Moonlight again. Besides, her presence at this time would serve as a good beacon for Ahnah should she be lost in the snow," Kaden said, watching Goldenscale pace, "I would think that Moonlight would like to hear from you every so often as well."

Goldenscale gave a whine, but sat down, knowing it was true.  Ahnah was capable of protecting herself, but she didn't like Ahnah being alone.  "I'm going with you if she doesn't come back.  I don't care if I freeze, I can use my magic to keep myself warm if I have to." she said, running her fingers through one of her wings in an effort to keep herself calm.  She then listened to Kaden and nodded, givong a smile at the thought.  "That'd be a good idea..." she said, closing her eyes and trying to reach Moonlight.  Once she was sure it reached her, she opened her eyes again.  "She should be here sometime.  The clouds and the snow'll make it difficult for her to find a place to land, but she should be here." she replied.

"The clouds are thinner out this way compared to those near the Fortress, but  her taking her time is not an issue. Even though a spirit in unaffected by the physical, they still have to navigate it," Alignak said, giving a nod, "I see what Ahnah was saying about your persistence to protect those you're close to though. You carry your mantel well."

"It shouldn't take either of them too long to get here if the weather is calmer out this way. Moonlight wont have to navigate as much cloud, and Ahnah wont have to deal with as much snow," Kaden said, watching the nearby window."

As if on que, Ahnah pushed through the door, a small wooden box held close. After closing the door behind her, she took a seat beside the fire. Once she had warmed up for a moment, she looked too Goldenscale with a smile. "I couldn't have hoped for a better gift from mother than what I found where you said to check," she said, her eyes seeming to reflect memories not belonging to her, "The meaning behind the gift still hurt, but there's so much mroe to it."

Taking seats on both sides around Ahnah, Alignak and Corazon went on to comb the snow from her fur, being careful not to pull any fur in removing pieces of compacted ice.

Goldenscale shrugged, knowing what Alignak said was true.  Moonlight always came, no matter how long it took her, though she preferred clear skies to cloudy ones.  When Alignak complimented her, she smiled.  "It's what I've done since I was little, though I haven't really had anything I really wanted to protect until a few months ago." she replied.  Kaden basically helped reassure her, though she was still fidgeting.  She had brought her wing out in front of her and she was unnecessarily preening her feathers to keep herself busy.  When Ahnah came in, Goldenscale looked up and beamed, glad Ahnah was back.  She would have gotten up and gone over to her, But Corazon and Alignak were busy combing the snow from her fur.  "Well, I'm glad you found what you were looking for and are happy again." she said, her tail swishing from side to side as she purred.

"Regardless of what you found, now is a good time for you to rest. You've been pushing yourself all day, now's the time to allow yourself a break," Alignak said, removing a large chunk of ice, "If you found what I think you did, then it will always be there in that box."

"I wasn't planning on pushing myself any farther today, but thank you for your concern. Besides, this gift is meant for us all to see," Ahnah said, spreading her wings out so that they could be reached easier, "What I did see of it said that much."  Once she was free of ice and snow, she made her way over to Goldenscale where she sat down once more. "We can see it later once Moonlight has taken her leave. I sensed the call, and I don' think there's enough time to play the message in its entirety before she arrives."

Goldenscale listened to Alignak as he spoke to Ahnah, nodding in agreement with him after he finished.  "That's true.  Besides, we need to rest up as much as we can for our future journey.  Even though we probably won't be leaving for a couple more days at that earliest to recuperate, it's best we make sure we are healthy and ready to go.  We'll never know what we may face." she said.  As Ahnah spoke and made her way over to Goldenscale, the child tried to track Moonlight's progress, purring when she saw she'd be there momentarily.  Continuing with her purring as she nuzzled Ahnah, she looked at the door and squeaked when Moonlight walked in, the silver she-dragon walking in gracefully as her sleek fur reflected the firelight.  "Well, I managed to make it." she said, her voice sounding like soft and gentle chimes in a breeze.  "It seems as though I have quite a crowd for my arrival." she added with a chuckle.

Purring in responce to Goldenscale's, Ahnah leaned against her. Seeing Moonlight, she gave a small wave with a wing before placing it over Goldenscale.

"It has been quite some time Moonlight.. It's a pleasure to be in your presence  again," Kaden said, bowing his head briefly, "I must thank you for pointing me the right way. I wouldn't have found the Icewarden if I had continued along the way I had been going."

"It does seem like we have quite the crowed today," Deniigi said, giving a nod to moonlight, "It's nice having you here though. It's not often we get visitors like you around here, let alone two in such short amount of time."

Goldenscale looked at Moonlight with such a happy expression on her face and Moonlight had to go over and nuzzle her. She then nuzzled Ahna  well.  "Good to see you both are well." she said to them before turning around to look at Kaden after he spoke.  "It's a pleasure being in your as well.  And think nothing of it, I was only helping out someone in need." she said with a purr before going over to an open spot where everyone could see her.  At Deniigi's statement, Moonlight gave a chuckle.  "I'm guessing Willow came to visit you then, Goldenscale" she asked the child.  After getting a nod from her, she then looked back at everyone. "So, am I here just to converse today, or do I need o answer some questions?" she asked, mainly to Goldenscale.  "Questions right now, but we can talk afterwards." Goldescale said.
