"You sense more than what's good for you," Ahnah sighed, resting her head back against Goldenscale. Watching her cousin tend to the fire, she began thinking of everything that had happened since the cave.

Finally waking, Midnight looed around. Trying to stand, she found herself dissy form her fever. Carefully making her way over to Goldenscale and Ahnah, she settled back down besode them. "The fire is too hot today," she yawned, resting her head back on the ground.

Goldenscale's breathing was soft, yet slightly erratic from her sickness.  It didn't help she was worried for Ahnah as well.  Being all alone in the past had made her soft and she can't stand seeing anyone sad, especially if they are special to her.  It was impossible for her not to worry.  Of course, she probably could if she tried hard enough, but she would rather worry about her family than not worry about them and have bad things happen.  She gave a soft snort as she slept, regulating her body temperature.  Since she had been regulating it since the previous night, she was the same constant temperature and would probably get better sooner than before.

After some time had passed, Aipalooviknidged both Goldenscale and Midnight before presenting them with bowls of vegetable soup. "Eat up you two. Getting some food in you should help fight off that cold. Once you're done eating, we'll head over to the Shaman's hut. Corazon should be awake by the time we get there," he said, staring to dip Ahnah and himself a bowl, "Don't feel like you're in a rush though. Food is meant to be enjoyed, even if the ingredients aren't the best quallity."

Goldenscale gave a whimper as she was woken, and lifted her head slightly.  She didn't really want to eat food right now, she wanted to sleep more, but she instead tried to sit up so she could eat.  Food was probably the best thing she could get inside her body at the moment, as she was planning on getting better soon.  "Thanks..." she said to Aipaloovik as she took her bowl and began to eat it slowly.

"It's the least I could do for the people who helped this village so much. I just have to wonder what happened to Alignak though. He came by earlier before you all first woke to check on Ahnah. He seemed like a completely different person compared to what I expected," Aipaloovik said, returning to give Ahnah her bowl, "I know the father replaced him as leader, but I wasn't expecting him to make such a drastic change."

Goldenscale smiled as she ate, soon setting it down as soon as she finished about half of it.  "Well, he had been blinded by his own power, and as soon as everything he heald dear was gone, he realized just how terrible he had been.  I'm not sure he has changed for sure, but he seems capable of changing.  Deniigi is letting him stay in the village because he knows how to do something about the workhouses or storehouses better than anyone..." she said before resuming her eating, as slow as it was.

"That explains why Alignak is still here then. I'm glad that he's changed, but I'm still surprised to hear Father allowed him to stay, especially after everything he's done," Aipaloovik, watching Ahnah idly staring into her own bowl. "Ahnah, I know you might not feel like eatin, but you need to eat just as much as Goldenscale or Midnight does. Starving yourelf will only serve to hurt those around you," he said, "Set whatever's on your mind aside and eat. You'll be able to think more clearly with some food in you."

"Looking up. Ahnah sighed. "I know, I know. I just don't feel hungery right now. I don't feel like doing anything right now," Ahnah said, using a claw to poke at one of the more starch heavy vegies in the soup, "Please don't take that as an insult to your cooking, my apetite is just lacking right now."

Goldenscale listened silently, looking over at Ahnah as she didn't eat.  She hadn't felt like eating when the food was placed in front of her, but their bodies needed food in order to function properly.  She ate all of her soup obediently and set down the bowl in front of her.  "At least eat a little bit.  You didn't eat yesterday, and though there is nothing wrong with that, our bodies need it." she said quietly, wrapping her body in her wings and rolling her head to the side to be supported by one of them.

"I might as well. It will give you all one less thing to worry about I suppose. It's the least I can do since I asked you to not worry about my metal state," Ahnah said, picking out the piece she had been poking at, "Maybe some warm food will take the edge off at least."

"While I don't like to force peaople to eat, I want you to at least eat half the bowl Ahnah. NOthing against your decisions, but I don't want you passing out on us half way to lunch. You know as well as I do how well that would turn out for you if it happened," Aipaloovik said after finishing his bowl, "I also want you to remember how important you are to Goldenscale and Midnight. To one, you're family. To the other, you're a symbol of hope. You still have someone who you mean the world to."

Goldenscale gave a slight smile when Ahnah said that she would eat.  It certainly was one less things for her to worry about, though there were other things that she was worrying about.  She did promise though not to worry about Ahnah, and she was going to keep that promise.  Well, maybe she'll worry, just not out loud.  After a very short while she ended up sort of dozing off while Aipaloovik was still speaking to Ahnah, though it was more of a light sleep where she could easily wake when she needed to.

"On that note, how well is your balance right now Goldenscale.. oh," Aipaloovik said, noticing Goldenscale had fallen back asleep, "I guess it's safe to asume that's a side effect being so closely tied to nature."

"That would be an accurate guess for both Goldenscale and Midnight. Both of their souls are bound to the very flowers that give them life. As such, their bodies react to the elements just as those flowers would despite being able to act independantly of them," Ahnah said between mouthfulls, "Midnight's condition is the easiest to guage though since her flower is embeded in her chest. They're both fighting off urges to hibernate though."

Goldenscale jolted herself awake at hearing Aipaloovik's voice, giving a yawn.  "Wha.... Oh, My balance is fine...." she said sleepily.  She then looked at Ahnah as she spoke, trying not to fall asleep again.  "Very much so.  It doesn't help I'm sick either, but oh well...  I could influence the way my flower works, but seeing as it is back where I reside, that might make me way more tired than needed, so I don't." she said, giving another yawn.

"It's good to hear that your alance is well. I feel like we might be supporting Midnight on the way to the Shaman's Hut," Aipaloovik said, stepping over to help Midnight to her feet, "Her fever's starting to get up where yours was last night, and it's messing with her balance. At any rate,we should head out soon. No need it letting this illness go unchecked any longer than we need to."

Goldenscale gave a nod.  "Alright, let me check to make sure I do have my balance before we do go though.  I only sat up, not walked yet." she said.  As she stood, her head began to swim, causing her to sway for a moment.  A solution popped into her head and she closed her eyes before covering them with her wings slightly.  "Okay, now I have balance.  On second though, I would rather not experience how much balance I can have for any length of time.  At least this way, I'm capablw of holding my balance indefinitely." she said quietly.  She then walked over to the two and helped Aipaloovik with Midnight.  Their auras guided her and her feet could sense where the objects and beings were placed inside the room, based on the slight vibrations her feet made when she stepped.  "Ahnah, you staying her or coming with?" she asked.

"I'll be staying here a little bit longer before I head off to talk with Deniigi. I just want a few minutes of quiet to think," Ahnah said, looking up from her bowl, "It might help me clear my mind, at least a little."

"Alright then. We'll try to be back here as soon as possible. Tied to nature or not, it's not good to spend a lot of time in the cold when one's sick," Aipaloovik nodded. Turning back to Midnight and Goldenscale, he started for the door, "On that note, we should get going before something or someone catches Corazon's attention first."
