Goldenscale smiled, but sighed.  ""I would rather talk that over with Ahnah.  This will be a very dangerous journey, and I want to try and keep as little attention on us as possible, though I am unsure how that will work out in the end.  I am fine with you accompanying us, though I will have to converse with Ahnah about that decision." she said

"I understand, you're both one this jouney together. It wouldn't be right for only one of you to make a decision like this," she said with a nod, "I'll wait here for the answer."

Goldenscale nodded.  "And you will have an answer.  I cannot guarantee which one it would be, but I will tell you our decision as soon as it had been made." she said.  She then turned towards the door.  "Excuse me, I think I should be heading back." she said with a smile as she left the room and went to the main room once more.

When Goldenscale reentered the main room, Ahnah and Aipaloovik could be seen resting against each other with their eyes closed. Hearing Goldenscale reenter the room, Ahnah lifted er head to look at her. "What was that all about," she asked, " You kind of left the room in a hurry."

Goldenscale went and sat next to the fire, facing Ahnah.  "Midnight followed us and wants to accompany us in our journey." she stated.  She then curled up next to the fire, putting her paws underneath her.  It was cold in the back room, so the fire was a welcoming feel to her.  She opened her wings , facing them downward so that they could soak up more heat.

"Well, if she fallowed us this far, I'd say she has strength to not be a hinderance," Ahnah said, taking a pillow and swpping herself  and it to avoid waking Aipaloovik. Stepping over to Goldenscale, she drapped a wing over her back to share the warmth, "If you have no objections to her joining, I see no reason not to let her."

Goldenscale began to purr happily and nuzzled Ahnah.  "I'm fine with it.  I told her that I would discuss it with you though." she said.  "As soon as we make a decision, I'm going to tell her.  I said I would and I would like to stay true to my word."

"Well, seeing as she managed to track us all the way out here, and in the middle of a storm no less, I'd say she has what it takes. It wouldn't hurt that if she joins us, we can get more sleep at night. Having a third person able to do night watch, will also mean we wont be as easy to approach by theives and other vagrants," she said with a nod, "You can go ahead and tell her she can join if you have no disagreements. Once you're done, you can invite her in here so we can plan our course of action once we're in the Fortress."

Goldenscale nodded.  She then nuzzled Ahnah's cheek before getting up and walking back to the back room.  Once again, she opened the back door quietly in case Midnight fell asleep.

Sitting near the center of the room, Midnight could be seen working on starting a fire but without success.

Goldenscale walked in and chuckled.  "Need a little help?" she asked before sitting and crouching near the dry logs.  She then grabbed two smaller twigs and rubed then against each other, soon starting a small ember of flame.  Crouching down next to it, she began to whisper to the fire and it steadily grew to be a warm, yet controled fire.  "There you go.  Now Ahnah and I have been conversing and we have agreed that you could accompany us on our journey." she said with a smile.

"Thank you," Midnight muttered before hearing the decision made. "Really? That's great," she cheared, curling around one side of the fire, "So, where are we headed right now?"

"We're heading for the Fortress of Ends. We need the assistance of this vilage's leader to even have a chance at stepping in. Our current host will also be joinin us for the trip through the Fotress since he knows how to get through it in the safest manor possible," Ahnah said, stepping into the room.

Goldenscale nodded.  "The Fortress is filled with puzzles that must be and must not be solved, and he knows them.  Yetis also reside within it's walls, so we must also try to avoid them at all costs." she added.  "I will be asking for the leader's assisstance later on at about noon."

"As for me, I'll be waiting here till the barrier is dropped. The vilage leader must not know I'm here till we leave for the next destination," Ahnah said, "You and Goldenscale will be talking with talking with him to convince him to drop the barrier."

"Oh, OK. So, we'll be here for a while," Midnight asked, tilting her head, "I don't know if I will be much help with that though. I don't know much about conversation. I was never allowed much chance to communicate when I was under that tyrant's control."

Goldenscale looked at Ahnah in confusion.  "Are you not coming with us into the Fortress?" she asked, her head tilted a bit.  Now she was confused.  She had thought that Ahnah was coming with them into the Fortress and that she was going to tell Alignak that she was accompanying her then.  But she was fine with either decision, she just had to know what it was.
