"The only way Aipaloovik or I could freeze in a blizzard is if Icewarden himself created the storm, or if the storm lasted for more than a week. Our bodies are build to survive these lands by nature. If it meant saving your life, I would risk that," Ahnah said, taking off her crown as well, "I lost one friend to the ice before, I would rather not see it  happen again, especially not with you."

Listening to Ahnah and Goldenscale, Aipaloovik pulled ahead and kept and eye to the clouds in the distance.

Goldenscale smiled warmly at Ahnah.  "Okay, I'll stop arguing.  Do whatever you want, I'll try not to freeze as terribly as I normally woukd." she said with an airy sigh.  If Ahnah and Aipaloovik were so intwnt on staying with her, then she will not stop them.  They had their own free wills and she will not stop them from doing what they want.  She then gently brished her wing tip against Ahnah's, giving her a smile before looking ahead.  She had tied the blankets around her well so they wouldn't fly off or move unless she took them off or repositioned them, and they hopefully would help her to keep warmer when they got to the colder climate.

As the group traveled, the ground below them slowly went from a grassy field like biom to a ice covered tundra. "Those blankets should keep enough heat for you to last till we get to the vilage. They'll have fires and other heat sources for you to warm up by once we're inside," Aipaloovik said, looking back to Goldenscale and Ahnah, "The air is going to start getting cold soon so I hope you have a good grip on the blankets."

"So long as you stay off the ground itself, you wont freeze too badly. At most, you've have ice forming on your wings untll you landed. At least we're going at a decent enough pace to not need to worry about that," Ahnah said with a smile.

Goldenscale smiled.  "Yes, I do.  I tied the blanket around me well enough that they won't fall off or move, and it covers most of my body, save for my legs, neck, tail wings, ecetera.  I'll be fine, I just need a heat source to warm up by when I get there." she said with a chuckle.  "I won't worry about anything, just as long as I won't freeze over." she said.  She then began to tuck her arms and legs closer to her body and underneath the blanket if she could.

"Just remember, we're here if you some eaxtra warmth to old you over. This thick fur holds onto heat rather well out here," she said, , watching Goldenscale tuck herself into the blankets, "He might not be as willing to provide the warmth, but I am, for more than enough raesons."

Goldenscale smiled.  "It will be a while still before I will need any extra heat to keep me going.  I thank you for the offer though.  I'll keep that in mind." she said with a purr.  She might need it if the storm comes.  She might be able to go longer flying depending on whether it snowed and how hard the snow fell, but she didn't think too much about it as she flew.

Giving a nod, Ahnah turned her gaze back to the road ahead. In the distance, a village made of stone could be seen, a pillare of smoke rising from the center to mark its location.

"Wont be too long now. If the storm will hold off another hour or so, we can be inside and out of the cold," Aipaloovik said, looking back to Ahnah and Goldenscale, "I can't really tell how far off the storm is, or how fast it is moving, but it is heading this way."

Goldenscale nodded.  "Okay.  Just as long as we can get there, I think we'll be fine." she said, looking over to the storm.  Ahnah and Aipaloovik would do fine in the storm, but she would try and stay with them for as long as possible if the storm hit before they reached the town.

"That's the goal for now. We'll have to wait for the storm to blow over  before we even head out to the Fortress. We don't need any more challenge than we'll be getting," Ahnah said, looking to the storm, "If it looks like the storm will get there before we do, we'll need to leave you behind Aipaloovik. It's not anything you did, we just need GOldenscale to survive."

Giving a nod, Aipaloovik fell back to be at Goldenscale's side again, "I understand, I'll be able to make it back just fine on my own. This wouldn't be the first time I've been caught in a storm," he said, "The cold doesn't affect me much."

Goldenscale sighed.  "I want to stay together.  I'll be able to survive.  Just as long as I'm not on the ground, I'll do a bit better in the air.  Anyways, I have the blankets, so I'll be able to go longer." she said.  There was probably no changing her mind, but she wanted to get her thoughts out anyways.

"It's settled then, we wont split up. No need in arguing about it," Ahnah said, giving Goldenscale a nod, "We should probably pick up our pace a bit though, the storm looks to be advancing pretty quickly."

"If that's what youwant, then i wont argue. I've already gotten off on the wrong foot, I don't need to dig myself farther into a hole I didn't want in in the first place," Aipaloovik said, "I agree with picking up the pace though."

Goldenscale nodded.  "Okay, I think we should as well." she said.  She then began to pick up the pace slowly to make sure the others were following.  She did say she wanted to stay a group.

As the group neared the village, the storm loomed overedhead, the snow starting to fall around them as the gate opened for them.

"Come now, get inside before the worst of it gets here," an elder said, ushering the group into a nearby hut, "We'll discus why you're here later."

Goldenscale shook her body a bit as she landed, landing carefully.  Thankfully they were able to arrive at their destination before the storm hit.  She then walked with Ahnah and Aipaloovik to the hut nearing them.  "Thank you." she said with a nod to the elder.  Well, they had made it and now they were going to be safe and warm and out of the snowstorm.

"We're not too fond of strangers here, but we're not the kind to just let someone freeze to death either, even if one of you shouldn't have come back," the elder said, watching as Ahnah stiffened, "Not all of us agreed to your banishment. You did nothing more than disagree with your father."

"Well, we need to speak with him reagardless. Without his help, we can't get into the fortress," Ahnah said once she had relaxed enough, "If he doesn't help us, we'll have to dig around his little barrier."
