"Not very trusting I see. I guess it comes from traveling. Never trust a stranger till they've risked their lofe to protect you," he said, giving a shrug, "SO, what is he like then? Does he treat you well?"

"Not necessarily risking their lives, but just until I know enough about them that I can trust." she explained.  She then just smiled wider and laughed softly.  This was more of a special case, and she didn't exactly know how to say things exactly.

"If you don't want to, I wont force you to answer," he said, looking over to Ahnah. "You know, I can't shake the feeling I know her from somewhere," he said, tilting his head, "She just looks so similar to my aunt back home."

Goldenscale shrugged.  "Well, I wouldn't know if she was familiar to anyone around here, since I live far from here." she said.  

"She may be a distant relative to Aga. Her first daughter was going to be the new shaman, but she left a long time ago before her training was complete," he said, looking back to Goldenscale, "She might be a relative to the one that left."

"Maybe.  What was the name of your cousin that left?  You're making me curious." she said, putting on a curious look to make it more convincing.

"Her name was Ahnah. She left the day after I hatch so I never got to meet her," he said, stretching before he stood, "Aga doesn't talk much about her. Her father Alignak outright refuses to admit she existed."

Goldenscale gave a frown, even though she knew the information.  "That's terrible.  Family members shouldn't outright refuse to talk about their children, especially their first borns.  I'm sorry you never got to meet her." she said with a sorrowful tone.  Though she gave no signs, she found it amusing that she could make things so much more different than they were.  "Maybe one day you'll meet her." she said with a smile.

"I doubt it, once someone leaves the clan, they're never allowed back into the village. If she were to return, we'd be required to attack her on sight, regardless of if we want to or not," he said, shaking his head, "I'm sure Alignak wouldn't want to see her with the way he acts. He always gets mad at his mate Aga when she mentions Ahnah. Aga herself doesn't klike to talk about her, but her reason for that is because of the pain she feels from the memories."

"I don't fully understand them myself.All i know is that we're supposed to attack her on sight. I don't know how I'm supposed to figure out what she looks like though. For all I could have known, Talia could have been Ahnah before you spoke her name," he said, laying his head down once more, "When I ask, most people don't even remember her, let alone what she looks like. Only Aga remembers that, and she refuses to say anything in fear of her mate hearing."

Goldenscale sighed.  "Well, that is something I disagree with.  If he wanted someone to be attacked, he should give reasons why he wants Ahnah to be attacked.  Iff he doesn't tell his people that, then there is no point in attacking.  And no one even remembers what she looks like, so why even bother." she said, frowning.  Though she wouldn't do anything to change their ways, maybe she could change the part about banishment.  That was just plain wrong and she saw no reason to do it in the first place unless it was for a severe punishment, like murder.  And all Ahnah had done was leave, and her father wants to attack her.  Maybe when she and Ahnah were leaving she could say she knew her back home and explain to them what she thought of her.  But she had no solid plan.  It was more of an if sort of plan anyways...

"It's been like thaat for anyone that has ever left the clan. After so long, they are forgotten. I'm sure that if one of the banished were to return, no one but the closest family and friends would recognize them. They would be able to lead a norml life so long as they avoided those people," he said, looking over to Ahnah as she began to move around, "Alignak is probably the harshest person I've ever known. His current daughter seems to little to no personlity about her because he keep her away from the other hatchlings. He doesn't even allow her to play. All he does is make her study and practice so that she will become the next shaman."

Goldenscale sighed again.  "I would probably have a problem with this Alignak dragon.  He doesn't seem like he cares for his children other than making them smart enough to be what he wants them to be." she said.  "I know I shouldn't voice my opinions, but this shouldn't happen.  I will try to control myself if I do meet him, but I cannot promise this." 

"Well, depending on why you're needing to come to the village, you might be able to completely avoid him during you entire stay. Since he's the leader of the clan, any official business is dealt with by him. Any other issues fall to Aga," he said, " The only ones forced to like his way of doing things is those of us that are part of the clan. Anyone who enters the village that doesn't enter the clan wont be forced to like it."
