This is a game. You're not supposed to make the game less fun for others, that's being a bad sport. It is incredibly FRUSTRATING to keep losing and to have the person you lose against get better and better.

playerxyz, they are not super-stat, they just have a better chance of rolling more good and less bad genes. Here's the one that joined after the update with the max bonus:

As you see, there's nothing special, he has only Sense of Direction (completely useless) and Regeneration (a bit better, but I got the same on the one that joined before the update and had no bonus gene probabilities).

@birdlove: what are your plans for them, in general?

the atmosphere here is pretty hot in the moment, I guess you noticed...

symurghs are obviously still much wanted ... even weeks after the new species update - people complaining in threads about other players "hoarding" symurghs, about claiming the space for "seventy hours"...

basically, I have to admit, I personally can understand a player who is following the game rules and doing the best of it - the rules and features of the game are the same for everybody, it's up to the people to beat you there.

however, at the same time I hear players complaining about you attacking them just minutes before their 10-hours-time-frame run out (it seems this happened not only once), getting really upset about it and such.

which can poison the game atmosphere, as we all can read in this thread.

how are your plans about the 10-hours-"treaty" between the players here? surely when you see an other player has just minutes left, waiting with the next attack for those couple of minutes wouldn't hurt?

I don't see how birdlove's holding a portal is unfair. As you said - it's a game. But this being a game doesn't mean you let everyone win, it means that the best one wins. And as I see it now (briefly looking at the battlefield) lika's or Daweia's squads for example should have a fair chance of knocking birdlove off.

I think the problem is not birdlove not letting you get the portal. Maybe some changes should be made to the tactics system itself - for example max time you can hold the portal. I'm sure Angel will look into this as it was already signaled.

And just.. for a bystander this here discussion looks more like a preschoolers' fight over a toy.. I thought we all are here to play a game and not to get at each other's throats.

A change to the portal waiting time would be really nice though, cause not all of us can be online at the same time..

Guys, stop fighting.... I see both parts here.

There is the alliance, which is well and great and helps people who don't have a chance get a chance. I know I'm not getting one. I don't have strong pets, and the energy to fight. I don't roll to well either. And I'm fine with that. I've started a new breeding project for stronger pets before I really try again. I get knocked back way too much to make progress. If it weren't for Stang I wouldn't have my first and awesome symurgh. So thank you alliance. :)

And there is also the other people who are not holding to the alliance. And given the reason the tactic map was made this is how the game SHOULD and was MEANT to be played. PVP battling means that everyone all out brawls each other and only the strong live to fight another day and reap the rewards. This makes people constantly work to breed the best pets possible and fuel reasons for gameplay. Just because someone battles you off the map does not mean that they have some personal trist with you- it's just gameplay. Good 'ol PVP gameplay. And it's not always fair because some people have more time/resources/money/play smarter. That's out of your control. People have autonomy and this is PVP.

But under it all please, if you make a promise hold to it. No matter what side you are on. We are all gameplayers who have worked quite hard to be where we are and spent a lot of time and silver/gold to be here. Let's be respectful and understand first and foremost that we are BETA TESTERS. We are here to test the game and its new systems, not each other's tempers. Mmkay? Let's just all chill out.

So please, lets be respectful of each other and drop it all. Start a new thread this one is way too heated. If you have a personal beef with someone take it off the forums, it doesn't belong here. If you have problems with a user take it up with Angel. Don't be public about it (or in PM's) because that is flaming and we reallllyyy don't want anyone to be banned for that.

So please, let's just relax. People who have more symurghs than us all is because they worked and fought for it. Don't complain. If you don't have a symurgh yet just wait. They will be old hat when the next species comes out, or in a few months. You'll find them common soon enough with such beautiful art. Be patient. Be nice, please. I really hate seeing people fight each other on the forums. :(

I do agree the portal time is too long though. But maybe this was meant to really limit the amount of symurghs given out... but it seems to be REALLY effective at this.

There's one more thing I want to bring your attention to. Please take note of what Angel and Voron_eril wrote here. According to them some of you are already able to win with birdlove's squad - it's just a matter of choosing the right tactics! So study the Tactics FAQ carefully again, plan your strategy and get going! I wish you the best of luck!

I want to make a small clarification about two points (thanks a lot playerxyz for drawing my attention here!). I do not stand at the portal for 70 hours, the correct number is 40. And I didn't kick off anyone from the portal intentionally in a several minutes before getting the pet. Like all of you, I had real life and play other browser games, so I do not monitor all forum threads waiting for someone to post there. I was attacking when I had enough energy and if I wasn't sleeping at this time (so usually it was about 8AM and 6-7PM at my time). I do not stalk anyone and do not make differences in nicknames and time. I'm sorry if I really kicked somebody in a several minutes before getting the pet - I admit that it wouldn't harm anyone if I just waited several minutes before attack. But I'm not a prophet, sorry.

Hey guys, i have a question. On my battle map, right under my engery i have this "The dwellers of Io are looking for 100 Hops" What dose this mean? Help me please. 

I guess you have to bring 100 hops to the portal to get one of the new items added in the latest update (?)

'You must reach the portal zone to deliver the goods and perform an exchange. You can fulfill one battlefield quest per day.'

birdlove. You have what you want now can you please hop off the portal. I've been tryin to get on there or ages to get my FIRST and you have multiple. Please thing of others that haven't been on the portal yet and stop beiby greedy!
