Just wondering how many people have a syrumph?

I have 1, kait has 1, Stang has 3(1 on the way), lika 5, MissShadowHunter 1, you 1, Zav 1. bird has 1. Thats as much as i can recall right off hand. lika bred most of hers from her pair same with Aelisk who has 5 as well. 

What if bird doesn't want this thread anymore, just attacking randomly and actually defending the portal... (wasting both gold and silver for those of us with bad pets, like me...)

No, I think that battlefield must be a battlefield. And if player cannot defend the portal from 4 attacks then probably it's too early for him to get there. IMO it's a waste to stand in turns. No fun and no action.

zaverxi, right now I see at least 4 squads on the map that can easily build a combo to shred my defence to pieces. And there's several combos that can be built even with 1st level pets without GP and that will crash my squad. My combo isn't universal at all, it was built for one certain battle. There are no universal tactics and you need to think who are you fighting against - this is the coolest thing here to my mind. Arena turned out to clicking one button depending on your pet no matter who is your opponent. And the battlefield gives at least a bit of place for planning and thinking. And I really want to play with opponents who think about tactics and try to build good combos too.

Well, I'm sure there will still be a way to get a syrumph.

That's a good point you have there bird, but it would also be no fun with the same people dominating the map all the time. And we are not taking turns. When someone is finished with the portal, anyone can attack, it's no one's turn.

Coming from a medium player (OK tactics, and soon to be better) i understand bith ways, because waiting for someone to be done, is no fun, but neither is not being able to attack anyone.

Being kicked off is not fun either...

now without the demo energy pack, we need to be conservative and don't lash out and fight whenever, we need to use our energy wisely.

if we all just attacked, then no one get the portal and it mean no symurgh, and the ones who are still on the treaty, I don't think I need to say more..

My Smurgyh (I am never going to spell that right) count is a Zero! Kicked back again. Anyone have tips for defending an area better? My maneuvres keep changing and I'm not all too sure what this means??? Help?! Thanks!

Also... earlier.. my two cents...

Like I said earlier battles are about battles, I see both sides here. The game was mean to reward those with good tactical pets with a new and rare pet and PvP battling. Which is an awsome and advanced game feature, that yes, it is unobtainable for most- but not unreachable in the future.

And there are always those people who band together and want to work for equality. Which I totally support because I am never a powerful player- I just don't have the time. I do have lots of gold- but I rather not use it on this when I can probably buy a Smurgyh later....

And then there are those who just want to duke it out with nothing but their own resources- also a good strategy (and what the arena was intended for). I keep getting shoved off the map and haven't gotten a Smurgyh yet. I probably won't for awhile, my only chance is you people here who are nice enough not to attack me, or building a better army. The map does reward those with time, money and good pets. But so be it. They've earned it.

But there are others out there and I understand they aren't going to all agree with our little arrangement- which is why I don't currently have a chance until I have stronger pets to fight everyone off myself! I'm still learning and refining my squad. However if you are one of those people and you want to enter into an agreement hold to it! I think it's awesome that we are all helping each other. It's my understanding that Stang was trying to help MissShadowHunter because she was trying to fix a mistake she made. Which is nice- and she did ask people if it was okay (well those who see the thread).

But since the game is a bit of a free-for-all and not everyone sees the thread or believes in arrangements (to each their own, PvP or not, it seems like there is a faction of people now) it's up to chance and tactics...

Anyway yeah- Please people, don't get upset over this. There will be more maps in the future as Angel said. More oppertunities. Don't fret ^^
