"Being half narga myself, I used to fight anyone that tried to take something I though was mine or got too close to me," she said with a laugh, "I obviously grew out of that, but occasionally, i can feel the instincts trying to kick in. I'm sure Nathaniel does every now and then as well."

"I'm right here you know," Nathaniel said, "But yes, I do have to fight with myself to not snap at the kids because of that. I must ask Beck, were there any others that got to partner up with creatures like Ruby?"

Beck looks down and takes a breath. "Not here I'll tell everyone once we are inside. I don't like to talk in the open about it." Beck goes inside. Jessie follows right behind him.

"I was just wanting to know if there were others out ther," Nathaniel said, fallowing Jessie and Beck in, "I want to know so that I can better prepare should one ever come this way."

"I can do without knowing. I've got larger things to take care of right now, " Sasha called out as she rolled the fencing back up.

Tracheal stayed with Sasha. Beck goes to his room and waits for who ever really wanted to know.

Once everyone was inside, Nathaniel closed the door behind himself.

"As you all know I wasn't always part of this group. When I was younger they were taking in orphans at a different colony. I didn't know what for. But three days in I was put on a training program."

Sitting by the wondow, Nathanielrelaxed as he listened.

"After a year of training me and a select few were chosen to become in their terms tamers. I was selected for Ruby. The reason was because she was the runt of the litter but they were wrong." Beck said with a chuckle.

"She probably one of the largest and strongest Nargacugas I've ever seen," he said looking out the window to see Ruby giving Sasha a boost to reach one of the wires connecting the building, "They were veery wrong to call her a runt."

"Yeah she bit the sarge for that to. We trained ten years til there was an earthquake. It turned out to be a ruptured gas line that blew. We got separated.I looked and never could find her. When I got back to the compound. They striped me and kicked me out for losing her. Then I ended up here." 

Jessie wrote on her notebook woooooooow.

"It looks like things turned out just fine for you in the end though. Ruby is alive and well, and you're part of a community that cares for its members now," he said, walking over to Beck and placing a hand on his shoulder, "I'm glad you made it here."

"Why is that?" He asks he's pulled out a pack of cigerettes and lights one.;

"You're one of few that I truely trust here," he said, "The only others I trust are Doc and Racheal."

"We better get ready. The merchant is nearing. Hell want a place to stay." Beck gets up and grabs his gear.

"When has he not wanted a place to stay furing his visit," he said with a laugh, picking up his gear with his good arm, "Think he'll have anything good this time?"
