He laughs a genuine laugh for the first time. "If only you could tell me what happened Ruby."

"I can help with that," Nathaniel said, pushing off the wall, "I can at least give you a general translation of her actions and vocalizations. That is, if she agrees to communicate after what I did."

"Is that OK with you ruby?" He asks looking to her as an equal even when they were together.

Giving Beck a nod, she walked over to Nathaniel and lowered her head to his level. After a moment of her making all sorts of growls and chirp, Nathaniel turned to Beck, "She says that the building the had fallen on her, only pinned her to the ground and knocked her out. It wasn't till a few days laeter that she cut herself free," he said, "From there she says that she tried to find you, but gave up after a year to start a family."

"I'm glad she found happiness. I've yet to find mine. But having you back is a start. Despite the size difference now." Beck says laughing.

"I see everyone is in good humor," Sasha said when she returned with several roles of thick cables and one trailing her, "It looks like the generator is ready to be started as well. This should be enough cable to hook up every colony building. This one trailing me leads to the fishery. It will server to start the turbines there,and once they're going they'll supply energy for the gernerator."

Tracheal jumps up and quickly helps her.

Beck sits there looking to his long lost companion. Jessie sat in becks lap as he looked at ruby.

Ruby walked over to Beck and curled around him as her three cubs joined them. One by one, the three cubs began purring along with Ruby.

"Well, that's something you don't see everyday," Sasha said, seeing Beck, Ruby, and Jessie, "Almost reminds me of my own."

"Well you can join in. Ruby always gave the best hugs," he says Jessie hugs on ruby as well.

For a brief moment, Sasha froze. "No, I need to keep myself busy. This generator won't hook itself up you know," she said shaking her head to clear her mind as she worked to hook up each cable.

Tracheal does a check of each one. Beck slowly falls into a sleep that has rarely came to him.

Once Racheal and Sasha had all the cabels hooked up, Sasha returned to the generator. "OK, lets see here," she said as she started changing settings to the ,achine. After a minute, it came to life and each building's lights came on.

Beck looks, "That's going to attract sewer rats and other creatures."

"That is where the defence grid we brought with the generator comes in good use. It'll take some time to set up, but we should have enough time to do that before we have a problem," she said, starting to roll out one of the fences and measuring it, "I'm sure we can handle anthing that manages to make it through since they'll have to go through the grids first. Ruby will be able to help deter any creatures from investigating. Feral narga are very territorial, especially the females."

"Yeah I know that back from when she was a little one. Shed bite the commander when he started to yell at me." He said laughing
