"Sorry. I mean the world changed before we even knew it."

"I think that's what you ment last night." Beck said going to get his stuff and the other things they collected.

She just pulled up her uninjured leg and stayed silent as she stared at the floor.

"I'm going to hang onto the Hunter's journal for a while. I'm taking my chance now to learn everything I can about the techniques the hunters used to hunt any and every form of prey," he said placing the large book on his dresser before fallowing Beck with his own bag of loot, "It might explain how they became so resistant to damage, be it from prey or natural causes like gravity."

" that'll cost you," he said with a smile. He gets to the sorting table that has bins that are taken else where. "Let's start sorting," he starts to pour out his bag.

"Anything that can help me be a more effective hunter is worth paying for," he said as he started unpacking his satchel and the travel pack, "Have you ever thought that there might be a way to start the city's old power grid back up?"

Beck looks at him. " no but what happen to finding the fishery?" He unpacks a few knives a hatchet that was from the hunters the pistol the 308 caliber rifle and ammo. He also unpacked bottles and other things like a few matches batteries and lamps.

"I'm not sure where it is. The old map I had found of this city says there is one, but I've never seen it with my own eyes. If it's here, it is well hidden," he said puling the silver dagger, and bag of gems out and setting them on a seperate table before unpacking the bottles and a large veriety of tools, "It might be easier to find should the power grid come back online."

"Well the best source is that creature that's with us now. How many bottles do we have? I counted three full boxes of 9mm and a box of 308 caliber rounds." He said putting the guns and ammo together.

"I've got ten empty and fifteen filled botles. i wouldn't try drinking the liquid in the filled ones though. No telling how long they've been setting," he said sliding the filled bottles to one end ot the table, "The creature would definitly be our best bet, but I'm not about to force it to do anything it doesn't want to do."

" I agree. We could pour them out. But the creature powered the building just by chewing a cable. I have three lanterns one battery powered the other two oil," he puts a bag of various batteries down, " and there is a few melee I found."

"True, but it was chewing on the cables on its own free will, and a single building takes less electrical power than an entire city," he said starting to empty the jars, "It may have the power when it's ully grown, ut right now it is only a pup."

"Is the park still in one piece," Sasha asked Doc while still staring at the floor, "Has it survived this forest's invasion?"

He looks at Nathaniel, " your right. So how are we going to split these off? N I'm going to donate a few for the group."

"I don't know. But I thought this city had humans living in it?" He said looking to her " sorry but we don't even know where that is let alone the fishery. If we had that place wed be set for fresh water."

"I wont be needing more than three of these bottles, you can do what you want with the rest," he said putting three of the bottles into his satchel, "Right now, I just need to keep myself distracted."

"Most of the population was human. They allowed us anthros to stay in the city under the conditions that we must never harm any of them for any reason," she said, "Once my le heals, I can lead you to the fishery."

"I just need one. My last jar broke," Beck has a bin and places the rest in it. "I don't need the laterns. I still have my flashlight. So it's all yours."

"Umm traveling isn't my fortay. It's more of Nathaniel's and Beck's," the Doc said looking over a paitent that came in. "Besides those two need to get out more. If they don't do something all the time. They become bored and drag themselves around."

"I don't need them. I may not be nocturnal, but my eyes are," he said placing the lanters on a shelf, "What are we going to do with the dagger and gems? The merchant isn't supposed to be back for another few weeks."

"I'm guessing they start to build or do dangerouse thing when they get bored," she said pulling her other leg up to lay on the table, "Thanks for saving us down there."

"We just keep them. I mean there's nothing else we can do. I mean we food plenty of food for the colony here and candles. If anything i consider that pay," Beck said sorting the batteries and taking a few for his flashlight.

"Well no they get annoying actually," the doc said with a chuckle, "But if you go and present it to them they'd be happy. Also, you should thank them. They found you and the others. Oh how are the other two doing?"
