"Yeah, besides we never really tackled the first floor either." Beck says safly placing it away.

"Might as well stick to the task and gather whatever might be useful," he said busting the lock off a door, "If we get to where we can't carry any more, we can always come back until we have everything useful picked out."

"Yeah," Beck says heading through the door after Nathaniel. This looks as though no ones used it. Nothings been touched or moved for years." Beck goes and looks for anything usful in the cabinets. Nothing but glasses. When he reached for one. It turned out to be a lever. The wall on the right side began to open up and there's an elevator.

"Yeesh, you'd think they'd some sort of wraning for something like that," he said taking deep breaths to calm himself and trying to smooth his spikes back down, "That almost gave me a heart attack."

"why is there an elevator hidden?" Beck walks over and opens the doors. "It looks as though the elevator is at the bottom, but i'd rather cut the steel rope if possible. i don't want the freaking thing come on and sqwash us. The sad part is i saw it happen before."

"We'd need to get on the roof of the elevator to do that. If you have any rope, it would be a good idea to tether ourselves to the walls so that we don't go tumbling down with it once the cables are cut," he said prying the door open, "I'd rather not take too many chances with something like this."

"No actually i don't..." Beck sits on the bed and thinks. "Well what do you suggest? i've got nothing here on how to get down there safly." he goes back and looks and adds light. "Is that a ladder?"

"Looks like it. We can probably use it after the cables are cut," he said taking the vine wrappings from his arms and handing one to Beck, "Here, use this as rope. I'll have to make new bindings once we get home, but I'd rather live should something go wrong and the elevator drop out from under us."

"Well lets get to it shall we?" Beck takes it and starts down the ladder.

"i thought we were going to cut the cables on the elevator, butI can live with this," he said fallowing Beck.

"I thought we'd be safer to use the ladder," he says making his way to the elevator, "The only problem that we might have when we cut it. Is the rope tension being released everywhere." he sits on the roof and thinks.

"I've got two spike left I could use to cut them from a distance. I just need to get where I can aim," he said moving onto the wall oposite of the ladder taking a semi feral stance on the wall, "This should do. Climb back up the ladder and tell me when you're clear of the cables."

Beck does as told and climbs up the ladder. "ok go for it."

Raising up his tail he took a moment to aim as the sharp scales on the end of his tail flaired out to show the last two spikes. After a moment, he gave his a tail a flick and the spikes cut through the cables sending the elevator screaching down and the cables into the walls as the tention was released nearly knocking Nathaniel loose from the wall.

"OK, it's safe to come back down now. I'll need some help getting to the ladder," he said clinging to the wall with as many claws as he could possibly dig in, "Please hurry though. I'm not sure how long I can keep from slipping."

Beck slid down and stopped to where he could help Nathaniel over to the ladder.
