"Yeah," Beck shakes his head after looking at the tree. "Let's start looking for anything useful. Who knows what we will find. Do you want to split up or go and do a sweep of each level from top to bottom?" Beck asks looking towards Nathaniels direction.

"We'd be able to find and gather more stuff if we work together. We'd be able to get to more stuff that way as well," he said searching around the base of the tree and pulling another metal box with a red pluss on it out from the ruble, "Who knows when or if we'll run into another one of those safes or something similar."

"I guess your right, and thanks for the assist by the way. It's rare for the others to come with me," He looks in the table drawers and other nocks and crannys for anything.

"I didn''t have anything better to do, everything in the forest is probably still in hiding from the foaming fellow. What good is a hunter if he can't track any prey," he said with a laugh, "Besides, it's about time I found someone I could fully trust. I've been in the group for about a year now, and I'm still wary of everyone except the children."

"It could be worse," beck says with a smile, " You could be hunting us." with a laugh as he looks under the bed.

"I would never do that. I know what it's like to be hunted by those similar to you and myself. I made it a promise to myself to never hunt down anything the even resembled me in shape or structure. No one should know the fear of being hunted down," he said as his ears began to fold back, still searching around the tree, "Imagine a life where you have to expect every tree and bush to hold something trying to kill you. Imagine a world where everything is out to get you. That is the fear I want to prevent in others."

"I don't blame you. You had no way of knowing," he said turning around to see the bullet, "I'd hate to be on the wrong end of the gun that is fired from. Keep looking, it may be around here somewhere."

He does but finds nothing of it. He thinks of where it could have came from. When he happens to see it in the tree. He starts to climb up it.

"Here, let me do the climbing. It's one of the few things I got from the nargacuga blood in me," he said before bolting up the tree to where the gun was, "Looks to be ment for range and power."

With a sigh Beck slides back to the floor. "I didn't see a bag though when i looked up."

"Here, catch," he said tossing the gun down to Beck before climbing back down, "I may be able to climb well, but that doesn't mean I like hights. It's not so much the hight that gets me though, rather it's what happens when you fall."

He catches it and looks it over. "Well i think this is all we will be getting from in here. So top to bottom sweep of the rooms again?" Beck asks looking down the guns sights.

"Lets see if we can't salvage any parts from the vending machine. If anything, the metal can be reperposed into tools and gear," he said pulling one of the bags from his satchel and ripping it so that it could be wrapped around the gun, "This should protect it from whatever might try getting into the inner workings."
