Of course, just check the left side of your pet's page for the group dropdown. ;)

You don't have to do anything to feed your pets; they automatically get fed at the beginning of each game day.

shadow1552: Head on over to the Creative board. There are sticky posts there that tell you what you need to know. Especially the thread Skins: Pet bases and art program downloads has info on which programs you can use and where to download the base you need to start.

Does anyone know how to make your pet stop exploring the islands when they are needed for another task?

To leave an island when you do not have a Premium Membership you must return to the portal which can then be activated by clicking the portal button beside the bandages.

Oh yeah I know that but my Symurgh was exploring and then I left and tried to make her do something else but she is still busy exploring the island when she is not doing anything at all...

You probably mistook it for another pet, or accidentally changed the page/pet/etc.

Anyways, to answer your question, go to that pet's profile, then click Explore, and you'll end up one the map again, from there do what Sylviianel said and head for the portal and click the button, that looks like a portal, that lite up.

I was wondering, what exactly is degeneration, and what does it mean? Does it affect breeding at all, and does it do something bad to the child of a pet with degenration? I breeded a pet of mine that has degeneration with another pet without it, and their child has no degeneration and seems perfectly fine, although I haven't researched that child's genes yet. I'm just really confused on the whole subject of degeneration.

Degeneration occurs when you breed two pets that are related within the past 3 generations. A degenerate pet might wind up with negative mutations and each degree of degeneration increases the gene power of any bad genes by 10 making it more likely that the bad gene will be dominant.

To prevent or decrease degeneration simply avoid breeding pets that are related within 3 generations. This is much easier if you have a premium subscription because one of its benefits is a warning if you attempt a breeding that will cause degeneration.

Also just to add to Lytala's explanation: If you breed a pet with Degen 1 to a pet it's not related to, the baby will be perfectly "normal", just like you experienced with your pet.

Degeneration comes in 3 grades. So if you inbreed your pet, the baby will be Degen 1. Inbreed again, the new baby will be Degen 2 and if you inbreed again, the baby will end up with Degeneration grade 3 (this is the maximum).

Likewise though, you can get rid of Degeneration. Each generation you breed with a pet not related will remove one grade of Degeneration. What this means is that if you have a pet with Degeneration 3 and breed this pet with an unrelated pet, the baby will be Degen 2. If you breed this new pet with another unrelated one, the baby will turn out to be Degen 1. And in your case, Degen 1 with unrelated pet means the baby has no Degeneration left.

Oh, ok. This makes a lot more sense now. Thanks so much to both of you.
