What is "State portal service?" my pet is there and I dont know what it is.

Essentially it is where you can send your pet away permanently in return for 5 energy flow cards. You can use those energy flow cards for additional explores without needing to wait for the portal to recharge the available islands.

Once a pet is sent to the State portal service branch, you can never get it back.

Does a title stay on a pet after it goes through the pound?

Yes, even after it's been adopted. 

If a pet has a heratige tag and/or a red or green star(s) what does this mean?

I have a question about quests. Is the number in parenthesis beside the pet needed for a quest the required level the pet must be?

No, the parenthetical numbers refer to how high the requested stat must be.

Clever is intelligence; the other not immediately obvious one is tough which refers to constitution.

The two ways to increase stats are leveling up or feeding the appropriate magic food.

In the pound I sometimes see animals with a name that has SP or SB in it.

What does that mean, if it means anything at all?

Pet names are determined by their previous owner and have meaning to them. Numbers and stats within the name may indicate a certain project they have going on and that is there way of keeping track of the pets.

Names don't have any special meaning to the name in general, just the owner. I like SP though is something that can be given to indicate that that pet is going to be sent to the State Pound or Service Branch when old enough. That's my guess as to the meaning of the names, but they hold no significance over all.

If you make a new group, can you move pets from an old group into that new group?
