I'm dumb and named a bunch of pets to be named later or name later ect bc I didn't know what to name them yet, now I do know but I can't darn change them, I'm an idiot sometimes, anyway I can change them??

@kennedyann13 In order to rename a pet you'll need to give it an amnesia potion so that the pet will forget its previous name and become nameless again. Once it's nameless you can name it something else.
Amnesia potions can be bought in the premium shop, but I don't advise that since you can get them from quests or while exploring. If you want the potions fast, it's cheaper to get them in an auction or item exchange than from the premium shop.

How do you make a squad? I feel really ridiculous, as I haven't figured that out for awhile now... >.<

Pick the 4 pets you want in the squad and place them in their own group. Hover the cursor over the tab for that group and click on the icon that appears and then click the button that says upgrade group to squad.

The Lykos with fifteen energy have the gene tireless heart which gives an extra five energy.

If you don't want to spend real money to get gold coins, you can earn them by placing in the top 10 for any of the weekly charts. You can also get gold from reporting any bugs you encounter while playing. Each chart placement and significant bug report is worth 10 gold.

you click on the pet that is still exploring and then click on the explore tab. it will take you back to the island.

Emeralds were for an event awhile ago but amethyst and rubies are still in use.
Amethyst is used to build the sanctuary which allows you to refresh a pet's energy once each day. Rubies are used to craft ruby rings and pendants needed for lvl 2 and 3 of townhall. Lvl 2 gives you 450 silver each day and lvl 3 gives you 900 silver each day.
