"Welcome back Frost. I think I've just about figured out what all needs to be done with these papers," Mayumi said when Frost walked in her home, "I want to make sure everything is as it should be before signing the papers. I don't want to turn them in only for them to be denied because we forgot something."

"You don't have to worry about the council being after you anymore."

"Really, what happened," she asked looking up from the papers sread out on her table.

"the eldest memeber was voted out," Frost replies.

"That's a relief. I wonder what happened to make them finaly listen to all the requests to get him out," she said still lookinf over the papers before taking out a select few and handing them over to Frost with a quill, "Here these are the ones you need to sign. The top three are for the council's records of coupled indeviduals. The rest are adoption froms."

He takes them and begins to sign them one by one.

"You'd think there wouldn't be this much paperwork involved in this kind of thing. Some of the things you have to answer don't make sense like this one, 'please state where you were born, and your age.' I honestly can't state that one without sounding crazy," she said tapping a claw on the table while she thought.

"So what is your age." Frost asks as he works on the second form.

"I was talking about the first part, but I'm fifty seven. I can understand them needin to know age for their records, but the location of hatching is a bit out there," she said setting the form aside to work on another, "What's your age, since we'll sharing our lives with eachother in a sense."

"Your not going to like it," He said fighting a laugh. He keeps signing.

"Age is something that doesn't bother me. I see it as a mark of achievement. Each year standing as proof that you can survive in tis world," she said starting to sort forms into piles of finished and unfinished groups.

"i'm twenty three." He says it jokingly.

"Oh, real funny," she said with a light laugh, "If you're twenty three, I'm the queen of all human kind."

"Hello queen Mayumi," he says abefore laughing.

"And now I'm back to trying to figure out how to not sound insane," she said pulling the first form back out as it was the last unfinished form, "This is going to bother me for a while."
