"Where were you last night? You disappeared without so much as a hint as to what was going on," the council head said when Goldenscale entered the council room, "You missed an important meeting last night."

"I went to destroy Archen last night.  Had I not been there to destroy him, he would have found someone to try and steal eggs.  He was trying to convince Frost to do take an egg in exchange to bring his wife back from the underworld.  He already took one, but I only managed to get it back, there was no way I was going to keep fighting a bodiless spirit.  But I destroyed him for good yesterday.  But after destroying him, I  had used up enough energy that would make any normal dragon go into a coma for the rest of life.  I was tired and couldn't stay awake.  So I stayed in Frost's cave to rest and get enough energy to function again." she said with some annoyance.  "Now, what did I miss?" she asked calmly.

"Fair enough. your reasoning is sound," he said before pulling out some papers and handing them to Goldenscale, "We have about three weeks before the spring festival. We were going through who was going to take care of what for preperations. We figured you would like to get to know the comunity better, so you got the assignment tospeak with the public to see what they expect this year."

"Explain what I have to do again, please?  That went right over my head..." she said.

"Just go around and ask what the people expect of this year's festival," he said, "Now, onto today's issues. Forst, we need to decide what we're going to do about Mayumi's disappearance last night. Has anyone heard anything about her location?"

"She was with me and Frost last night." she stated.

"OK, what was she doing out there? She was given direct warning to stay with the walls of the cave, "he said writting a few things down, "She was given the warning that if she left the cave, she would be punished."

"She was worried about me and Frost.  And please don't punish her.  You really don't want to been my bad side right now.  Not with what happened yesterday..." she said with a frown.

"And how do you suppose go about holding to our warning? She went against her sentence, and something must be done," he said, "If we do nothing,  the public will hold it against us. We must hold to our word."

"Give thema good reason to stay inside the walls.  Tell them that if they leave, there are dark spirits and evil magic users that could harm them and hurt others." she said.

"That's not what I mean. Everyone knows the dangers outside the cave. I'm talking about what are we going to do about Mayumi? We gave her clear warning, and she still left. We can't let her just slip by just because she went to check up on someone," he said, "We have to keep to our word. How are we to expect people to fallow ruling if we don't enforce them?"

"Then let me take her punishment." said Frost coming forward, "She is the one i want to be with and i'll bear her punishment."

"Very well, then. If you are serious, meet back here during the afternoon meeting. The punishment will be ready then," he said  looking at Frost a little confused, "I'll never understand the younger groups. You're always giving away your feelings. Wether it be one's love for someone, or the ghosts of their past haunting them. I remember the days when you have to work to even be aloud to here such feelings from someone. Answer me this, why are you so open hearted?"

"I guess it might be my travels, or i care for her and Goldenscale to the point i'd lay my life on the line for them." Frost answers ready for anything that they could give.

"Why is it you care for Mayumi so much? You had went so far as to try and steal our records for her," he said, "What has she done for you?"
