"And that is a truth many find hard to deal with. I'm glad I can be there at your side. The journey that is ahead of us will lead us to world we neveer thought possible. We must remember our reason and our belief if we are to succede. I firmly believe niether will be a problem," she said, nuzzling Goldenscale, "Now, why don't we speak of something more light hearted, like you bother and sisters."

Goldenscale smiled and purred.   "Yes... that woul be much better..."

"So, where do you think the red came from in Falinx. I understand where the white and gold colors of Frost and Gian came from, but Falinx seems to be a little bit of an oddball," she said, holding the pottery door open for Goldenscale, "That's not to say that she isn't adorable, her colors just seem a little out of place."

"I see, that makes sense. It must have been a little sad for her to see Falinx. Seeing as she isn't from this world, I would think that she sometimes comes to miss her parents. I guess her colors gives Mayumi all the more reason to love her," she said, "It will be interesting to see how they react once they can see. I wonder how long it will be before they can."

"I was starting to worry about you two. I was begining to think you had forgotten about your pots," the clerk said, looking up to see Goldenscale and Ahnah, "By the sounds of it, you are talking about some hatchlings. Would I be wrong to think this?"

"We are talking about hatchlings.  My siblings in fact." she said proudly.

"Ah, so who is the lucky parent," the clerk asked, pulling Ahnah's and Goldenscale's pots down from a rack and handing them over, "I might swing by for a visit sometime, might even help around the place if needed."

"Mayumi is my mother now, and I have two sisters and a brother now." she said as she took her pot.

"So, Ms. Leave me be finally decided to settle down with a mate. Who's the lucky father, if you don't mind me asking," she said with a smile, "I'm sure he's just as pround as you."

Goldenscale looked away.  "Frost, but he passed a couple days ago..." sh said quietly.  Her sadness was resurfacing and she could no longer keep any other emotion from showing.

"I'm sorry, i didn't know," she said, looking down. "Here, you can have your money back from the booth. You deserve to keep whatever money you can muster, and I must keep a business rule intact. Should a customer ever come into harm, physical or otherwise, all fees will be refunded," she said, handing Goldenscale her money back, "I am truly sorry for bringing up such wounds."

"No.  You need it to make a living as well.  I am a creature of nature, so I can go in the forest and look for what I need.  I am accustomed to that sort of life.  And you didn't know.  I cannot blame you.  And it isn't the first timena family member has died while I was there..." she said.  She held the money back out to the woman.

"Keep the money. It is a personal rule that I hold myself to, no acceptions," she said, shaking her head, "If anything, give it to Mayumi. She must be devestated by her loss of Frost, and she will need every bit of assistance to keep on her feet."

"It is true... but with the hatchlings, they will keep her going." she said with a smile.  "Just knowing they are here and healthy is enough to keep me going."
