Goldenscale used the speed gained in her dive to make her go faster. She pulled up last second and then began to fly through the trees in a blur, dodging every one of them.

As she ran, Ahnah began pushing off trees until they were the only things keeping her off the ground. Launching herself up into the air, she kept her wings tight against herself as she dove towards the cave entrance.

Goldenscale roared and flew inside the cave with a furious flap of her wings. But because of her speed, she could not land properly and crashed to the ground.

Going too fast to stop, Ahnah jumped and grabbed hold of the edge of the building to stop herself before reopening her eyes.

"You alright," she asked, falling to the ground beside Goldenscale, "That was a pretty good race."

Goldenscale began to laugh. Her lail was now in her face, her back resting on the building. "I haven't crashed like that in ages, but the last time I flew like that was..." she trailed off. She refused to think of Archen and his army that came and tried to kill Mayumi. "I think I'll be fine, You?" she asked.

"I think we'll both be fine," she said, laughing as she combed her fur back down. As she stood right now, her fur ha puffed out due to her sudden stop, and it was making her look like a pufball with wings.

Goldenscale stiffled a laugh and got up. "Aw... My feathers as missing..." she said with a sigh when she saw what her crash landing had done to her wings. "Missing some primaries, some secondaries..."

"Give me a moment to comb some of this own so I can see. Feathers are an easy thing to make grow back," she said, starting to run her claws through the fur around her eyes, "You might have been about to molt anyways."

"Then I can't fly..." she said with a sigh. "Here, let me help you." she said as she began to use her wings to smooth down Ahnah's fur. "But they can take from days to weeks to grow back, depending on the feathers and can alter my flight." she said.

"Right, now just hold still while I apply the magic," she said, taking her bone out.After a few moments of focusing, Ahnah pressed the bone against both of Goldenscale's wings, leaving behind a small sigil on each. "There, just give it a few moments to kick in. you'l feel a slight sting as the feathers grow."
