When Goldenscale pressed her head against Tieral's a dark force pushed back before pulling back once more. As the force retreated, Tieral's scales and eyes returned to normal.

"Thank you, but it will return. I don't know when, but it will," Tieral said, shaking his head to clear his thoughts, "Light is easier to control than darkness. I need to learn to control the darkness before I can safely transform into it."

Those who can see, can not. The blind see everything.

"He's alright now." she said with a smile. She then walked over to Ece and nuzzled her. "I'm going to go and train for a bit. I haven't done that in a while." she said.

She smiled. "Just as long as you both are safe. At any signs of trouble, I want you both to come back." she said as she went over and kissed Tieral on the cheek. "I'm going to be racing first." she said as she picked up Ece and walked out, waiting for Tieral.

If the eggs give any signs of anything, I'll try to reach out to you," Ahnah said, meeting Goldenscale and Tieral outside with Alekai held in her arms, "I know you care just as much for the eggs as Mayumi does, so I'll do what I can to keep you informed about them."

"Konoki, Dara, and several other gryphons are at the training field right now. Their auras seem to show them practicing basic hunting skills," Tieral said, looking towards the training fields with his eyes closed, "Maybe you can introduce Ece to Konoki. I bet he'd be glad to see her."

"Who is Konoki," Ece asked, looking up to Goldenscale, "Why would he e glad to see me?"

"Konoki is a gryphon that took me in as a young child and acted like a father to me. He will probably be surprised to see me with a child, but he will welcome you nonetheless." she said as she began to walk towards the forest.

"He sounds like a nice person. I've never seen a live gryphon though. The only one I saw was curled up in the middle of a forest, already dead. he look really old though," she said, looking to the forest, "I can't wait to meet Konoki."

"Well, you'll see him soon." she said with a smile. After walking through the forest, they finally made it to the training grounds. "Hey, Konoki." she called out to him. He stopped his training and walked over. "Well, good afternoon. Who is this young one?" he asked her, his voice more deep than usual.

"This little one is Ece. She's our daughter," Tieral said, tickling Ece a little, "She ran into Ahnah and Goldenscale a little before noon yeserday. Being as young as she is, Goldenscale and I decided to adopt her."

Looking up to Konoki, Ece only starred in awe.
