"Ya, I'm here," Metraz said, wacinf a wing from behing a shelf, "I'm sorry to hear what hapened this morning, both the council and Frost."

"It's alright.  It was just...unexpected..." she said quietly.  "There's someone I want you to meet." she said with a smile.

"At least the most negative members of the council are gone. That in itself should make things so much nicer around here,"he said, stepping around the shelf to meet Goldenscale," So, who is you'd like me to meet?"

"Well, isn't this a rare sight. Never thought I'd seen a fae around this cave, especially not once this young," he said, giving Goldenscale a surprised look, "Would it be intrusive if i asked where her parents are? I mean, faes are known to have tightly ound families. Seeing a child like this is beyond rare."

"I'm guessing i don't have to warn you about the danger faes face when they're around other species of dragon," he said, rubbing the back of a claw just between Ece's wings, eliciting a pur from Ece, "In any case, she safe with you, Tieral, Ahnah, Ricken, Larai, Clair, and me. You may be our main focus of protection, but we also protect you imidiate family like Mayumi or Alekai."

"With all of us to keep her safe, that can't be any more true," he said, continuing to rub Ece's back, "We'll be sure to take good care of her while you're gone on your journey."

"All you need to do is give us the word and we'll protect her as if  she was you," he said, "I'm sure Tieral would protect her with his life regardless."

"I can tell the others about the patroling the forest if you'd like. I'm sure Tieral and Ahnah allready know about them. As for protecting Ece, Tieral should have that covered," he said, removing his claw from Ece, "I have tasted fae flesh before, it was a prank pulled on me, but the fact remains. It doesn't taste any different from turkey. Personally, I find it rather repulsive and offensive to think of fae as food. I know of several people who think of them as snacks, but i also know several ways to avoid them at all times."

"Well, you don't have to wory about any enforcers wanting to eat her. One of the few major rule for enforcers is that all dragons, no matter size or species, must be treated with respect unless ordered differently by a commanding council member. Those who are found to eat faes are instantly kicked from the enforcer academy as if they had commited a crime," he said , watching as Ece fell asleep, "I've got an idea. The day before you leave, you call all of us for a meeting so we can discus who has what duties. That way, there's no confusion."
