"I never found males attractive.  I can never see myself becoming mates with one either. You sexuality is determined by the gender you're attracted to. Most people lean towards the opposite gender, but there are those like me that are attracted to the same gender. There are also those who go for neither, or don't care about gender as well. Sexuality usually remains rather hidden until you either ask, they tell you, or show their attractions. It's something most people don't care about until it involves them," she said in an almost monotone way, "There are people that see those like me as unnatural, and make it their goal to put us down in whatever way they can. Most people don't care, but those that do tend to be rather negative and loud about it."

"One of the few cruelties that can be avoided by just being silent. One of the reasons I chose to stay here was because the people here don't care what sexuality you are, they'll treat you like the person you make yourself to be. If you choose to be a jerk, they will treat you like one, and if you choose to act like nice person, they will treat you like one," she said, starting to slow down until she landed on the edge of a cliff, shaking slightly.

"I'm fine, I just need to rest for a minute," she said, slowly walking over to a bush and laying down in the shade with a grunt, "It's something I have to go through every few months, but it will pass in a few days. You'll start going through the saame thing in a few years when you're older."

"No, but it is similar.  While her's was her body telling her when the eggs would come since she was gravid, mine is my body telling me I'm in prime condition to mate for the month. It's painful, but there's nothing that can keep it from happening," she said, "It goes by many names like heat or going into season, but it's all the same."

"That would be nice. I could use something to cool off with anyways. Thos fur may be nice during the cold months, but it's quite the burden during summer and spring," she said, taking a few deep breaths before standing, "Maybe we can search for something to eat. You can find yourself some meat, and I'll find some berries and the like."

"It's good to know I'm not the only vegetarian here. I've done so much to make myself fit in, it seems wierd returning to my old way of living. I'd still eat plants and the like in private, but the meat I ate always made me sick. I could hide it long enough to get where they wouldn't see me though," she said, walking up beside Goldenscale, "I'll go with you to collect food."

"Tundras as a species,  are herbivores. Eating meat makes us sicker than if we had eaten a diseased rotten plant. Now that I look back on what all I've done to be accepted, I disgust myself. I pretty much lived a destructive life style for my kind," she said, fallowing Goldenscale, "It makes me even more gratful for meeting you."

Giving a strong beat with her wings, Ahnah propelled herself over the hedge, landing a few feet from Goldenscale. "I've always felt liike a stranger seeing everyone consume meat and not get sick afterwards. Tieral doesn't even know I can't handle meat," she said, looking around at the garden, "This place is rather impressive. It's a wonder how no one has found this place."
