"Mom, you're back," Alekai chirped happily, jumping from Tieral's head and running to Goldenscale, "Are you alright, you're limping."

"Good to see you;re welll enough to be getting around," Tieral said, lookun up from whatever he was tinkering with on the wall.

"There is a rare substance trapped deep within this wall. A good twenty feet back, there is a pocket of light eco, a substance the actively transforms other energies into light energy. I'm working on a way to channel the energy released from it into these crystals," he said, tapping on a box filled with quartz crystals of all sizes, "If I can get this holder to work right, I'll be able to make light crystals, and in turn, make a way for me to control when I transform. On the other side of the cave, there's a pocket of dark eco, but I'm going to wait until I have control over my dark form before tapping into it as I have with the light eco."

"Is that so? Well, if you like, I can tap into the energy for you if you'd like." she offered.

"I know the set up I have works, I just need to make a holder for the crystals so I'm not standing here several hours a day to charge a single crystal, but the only substance that seems to be able to channel the energy is crystal. I was able to find several long pieces of quartz. Adding a metal holder seems to prevent the flow of energy though, " he said, turning back to the piece of crystal he was carfully cutting with his claws, "Just as a little heads up, Alekai seems to become hyper and restless when exposed to pure light energy. The effect doesn't last long, but it's reason enough to keep the crystals out of his reach."

"Aw, those white crystals made me feel nice and warm. I can feel things now," Alekai protested, shifting around to face Tieral.

"Alright, you know what to do idf you need any assistance," he said, sliding the piece of crystal onto the end sticking out of the wall before grabbing another piece as the first started turning white, "Please try not to over do yourself."

"I'll try.  Be back soon." she said as she jumped from the ledge and glded bak over to Ahnah.  "I'm going to go on a perimeter check.  Want to come?" she asked.

"I don't see why not, it'll be a nice change of pace  away from the festival," Ahnah said, standing up and walking out of the shade, "Who knows, we might find something nice while we're out."

"Maybe." she said as she took off.  She then began to fly through the forest on her patrol.

"Just a quick question, were you planning on burrying the rest of those rogues," she asked, flying beside Goldenscale, "From what Tieral has told me, it sounded like there was near a thousand of them out there. It would be bad if a necromancer got ahold of the bodies."

"Yeah.  I'll bring the rest of them in the barrier later." she said as she flew.

"Now that we're away from the cave and listening ears, who was that in the cave you were digging. They didn't fell like they were evil or dangerouse, but they did have a strange aura. I've never felt an aura like theirs," she said, looking back to see the cave entrance disappearing, "I understand that you might not want to say too much about them, but I only want to know what it was about them that was so strange."

"I protect all that arrive in my forest and have no intent to harm. It doesn't matter if their aura was strage, I bet everyone thought mine was strange when I first arrived." she said.

:Very feww can detect auras like we can. When I first sensed your aura, it was different, but I would say it was wierd or strange. It felt more a part of nature than anything else," she said, "I don't know what it was about the aura in the lakeside cave,but it just seemed odd. Not evil, but not good. It felt like it was hiding another aura within itself."
