"Yeah, haven't slept for days" I say yawning. "Is there really that many insects in our house" I frown.

"Insects are everywhere, you just need to know whee to look. Most of these are just mites and the such, insects too small to cause any harm.No matter how well you seal up a home, mites will get in," Ece said scratching at one of the floorboards, "Most people can't see mites because they're either too large, or not looking."

"Perfect," Larai said, taking one of the crystals and fitting it into his badge, "You're lucky Frost didn't pick us up earlier today. Only the Head  of Council has the power to grant a badge to an enforcer without them taking the exam. When he came for his initial three, he pick two who were nearing their exams and one who already had their badge."

"You'll find out when we get home," Clair whispered, taking one of the crystals and fitting it in her badge as well.

"A nice warm meal and a good night's sleep sounds good about now. I will see you all in the morning," Larai said, yawning before he headed for the stairs out.

"I'm ready whenever you are Ricken. I can't wait to see the they have set up for us," Clair said, rubbing her head against Ricken's neck.

"Ohh, you're very scientific arn't you" I say chirply.

"No, I just know my food sources," Ece said with a smile, "Nature has a lot to offer when you know what to look for. You just have to watch out for the dangers it can hide."

"I know enough about dangers" I say with a sigh

"Don't we all," Ece said, flying over to the fireplace with an armload of insects, "I'm just glad I found someplace safe."

"Exactly, but soon I need to go out hunting, you coming?"

Ece flew up and landed on Storm's head. "I don't see why not. You offered me shelter, and I agreed to warn you of any aproaching dangers," she said, using one of Storm's horns as a perch, "It might be a little late, but ther should still be enough time for you to find something."

"My thoughts exactly" I say and walk  out of the door. "While were here can you teach me your magic tricks and all?" I say walking into the heart of the woods.

"It would be better to wait till morning for that. Less chance of being ambushed while you find your inner focus," she said, looking around, "The magic us faes us is boarderline druid territory. We depend on the magic stored in nature to power our spells."

"Ok" I say and chase after a deer, I catch up with it and dig my claw into its back and pull the animal back, I pin it down and snap it's neck and swing it onto my back "thats food for me" I say chirply and walk along. Suddenly I feel cold. Dark magic. "Ece move now please" I manage to squeak out before I catch alight, my army of preditors looking at me. "Well dark magic is near Ece, can you tell me where?" I ask, ignoring her astounded expresion.
