"Mind if I ask what it is you're doing digging a cave into this cliff," she asked, letting out a low purr, ", "And what's with the dead rogues?"

"I thought it would he a good idea to bury them here, sort of like one of those tombs.  They may have been nice sometime before they became rogues." she said quietly.

"Even if they weren't good people before, they still deserve a burial. Just like birth, death comes equaly to everyone. Everyone is born, and everyone dies," she said, looking over the bodies, "They seem oddly fresh for being dead all day. Then again, it looks like these ones died from an overload of dark energy rather than normal means of death."

"Well, Tieral was in his dark form..." she said.  She knew the ones she killed where the ones with the cuts all over their bodies, so these one's must be the ones he killed.

"I know, there's alway a change in the atmosphere when he does go into that form. It was surprising enough to see him carrying youback to the barrier, completely in control of his state. he left you at the barrier since he couldn't pass through in his dark form. Anyways, the instructor wants you to be there to watch Ricken's, Larai's, and Clair's final exam," she said, raising her head and breathing in. "There's someone else in the cave," she said, taking a defensive stance.

"He carried me from the field to the barrier?" she asked. She then nogiced Ahnah's stance. "Come on, I can protect myself. And I would be able to sense another aura. I would be more worried about what's outside the barrier than inside." she said as she rubbed her head underneath Ahnah's. "We should be going to the exam."

Ahnah hesitated for a moment befor turning away from the cave. "You're right. They're waiting for you to get there. A recent addition to the rule states that at least one council member has to be present for the final exams, or the test itself is rendered void. The instructo chose you since you were already friends with Ricken," she said, relaxing her stance before starting towards the cave, "As for what happened a the barrier, Tieral walked up to the barrier, you in his arms, and sat you on the ground before pushing you through. I asked him about it earlier, and he said he had no memory of it happening. Both Ricken and the Willow can vouch for me, it did happen."

"What I find to be the strangest thing about the whole situation is that he spoke directly to the willow, telling her to not open the barrier for him. It's almost like his dark form was completely aware of who he was and what you meant to him at that time," Ahnah said once Goldenscale caught up, "Something tells me that his control over his light and dark forms rides on a fine line directly connected to emotions. What else could explain his actions this morning?"

"That might not be the case, but it is a very real possibility. In the past, I've noticed similar reactions of self control when I put myself between him and his 'target.' Something deep in his forms' minds tells them when to stop. Whatever the cause for this reaction is, it's worth looking into," she said stopping at the cave's entrance, the fur along the back of her neck starting to stand on end, "Now might be a good time to test your theory on his light form. He said he was going to your house when i left to find you. He should still be there until the changes finish, then he'll be on the move."

"Go to your house, that's where he said he was going to. He's most likely to be there," she said, closing her eyes to get a better sense of where Tieral is, "I'll watch for him from here. One of us is bound to catch him."

Sitting against the wall, a bluish white figure sat. The figure was the same as Tieral in every way except for the bright, white-blue color of his body and the translucent webing on his wing. The only light in the room seemed to be coming from him. Upon closer inspection, he could be seen holding Alekai.  "He's such a precious little thing isn't he," a wisp like voice asked as Tieral watched Alekai sleep in his arms.
