"Thank you for everything. I hope to see you again, hopefully I'll be in better health by then," Dara said, nodding to Goldenscale, "Let the world shine on you as you have shone on us."

"If I said any more, I'd be repeating myself," Clair said, laying down on her bed and looking to Ricken as if to ask him to join her.

(No, later though. Right now, it's just a friendly gesture so she can be close.)

"It will probably be next year then, if I make it.. We don't have the funds to enjoy the festival," Dara said, "Besides, Hanna is too oung to be leaving the house just yet."

"Good luck to you then," Dara said.

Clair leaned into Ricken, closing her eyes as she enjoyed the moment.

"Yes. I'm trying to solve the loopholes. I had it made where we will do surveys with people. And I had it made where that family got some food today."

"Um, can one of you unlock the door,"Larai asked his voice muffled by the door, After a moment, he started knocking.

"Then we all worked to help them. You by setting the council to get them food, I produced the potion need to save the woman's life, and Goldenscale delivered it," Mayumi said, laying her head over Frost's neck, "It's a unique feeling to have helped save a family."

"Should I open the door, Clair?" Ricken asked quietly.

Goldenscale wandered the case, soon ending up in the forest.  A headache seemed to have sprouted as she walked, but she didn't mind, she had been busy since last night.

"So, how'd Ahnah take the news," Tieral asked, landing in a tree near Goldenscale.

"Go on ahead, he deserves to talk with you as much as me," Clair said, moving so Ricken could get up, "You're his friend as well."

"Ahnah took the news well..." she said as she yawned and curled yup underneath the willow tree.  "She was pretty happy..."

Ricken got up and unbolted the door, then opened it for Larai.

"That's good to hear," Tieral said, moving over into the willow's branches,

"Thank you Ricken," Larai said, stepping through the door. "I'm sure Clair has already asked this, but how was life during those years you were with those rogues," he asked, walking over to his bed and laying down, "It must have been rough."

Goldenscale closed her eyes and dozed off.

"Yeah, it was.  I always had to run from Goldenscale.  I never told the other rogues she was there, so they all ended up dying.  Eventually, they learned and they kept me from going on any hunts with them.  Then, I would follow quietly and observe.  This is what happened for several years."

"What am I going o do with myself," Tieral asked himself, propping up between two branches, "I can't keep going like this. Someone will get hurt. I must learn to control myself better, but how?"

"Well, your back in familiar arms now. We will make sure the rogues never get another chance to kidnap someone again," Larai said, "Why don't you sit down? Better to save your energy for the final exam in a few hours."
