Goldenscale and Moonlight both went through.  Moonlight was easily able to adjust her eyes to the little lighting, but it took Goldenscale a little longer.  She gasped in awe at what she saw.

"Welcome to Valenth. This specifically is Schalle, the most pure and untainted of the continents" he said, closing the portal, "We're not too far from where Mayumi's friend is."

"This place is amazing!" Goldenscale said, her eyes darting all over the place as she looked at her environment.

"Just wait till we get into the mountains. The twin dancers will be rising as we get there, that's a sunrise to see," he said, walking towards the mountians in the distance.

Goldenscale began to bound happily behind him.  Moonlight smiled at her happiness, but followed behind at a farther distance.  Not very far, but far enough not to be hit by the bounding child.

After what seemed to be hours of travel, they had reach half way up a mountian face when the two suns began to peak over the horizon.

"There it is, one of the most beautiful examples of nature," he said turning his head to see the sunrise, "It always amazes me."

Goldenscale smiled wide as she noticed how beautiful it was.  She would never get to see a double sunrise ever in her own home, but here was a wonder.  "Wow..." was all she could say.

"It's one of the few things I return to this realm for, and it never dissapoints," he said, starting to climb again, "So much has changed over the last melenium, but the sunrise has always been the same."

"Change is something that can never be taken away.  It will always be there." she said, following.  Moonlight had resorted to her feline form and she now rested on Goldenscale's back.

"The only thing to change about the two suns is that there's a  trapped demon balanced between the two now. It calls itself the dustman," he said, reaching the top wher there was a large nest like cratere, "Here we are. The original birthplace of Opus, and soon to be the birthplace of the new Opus."

"That's the Fogman that's kept there.  He isn't the kind of spirit you want to mess with..." she said with a slight frown.

"I know, he tried to trick me, but failed miserably. I made it so that he could never escape his prison, even if both crystal and stone were destroyed. With Kelan's help, we tied Fogman's soul to his prison," he said, placing the egg in the center of the crater, "There's a cave only a few miles north of here. Inside is a clan of red flarions. The vitae crystal around your neck will grant you passage in. Ask for Chiei."

"Different Chiei. This Chiei was friends with Mayumi for several years before she disappeared," he said, covering the egg with a dark purple cloth, "I wont be fallowing you there though. I don't want to provoke any hostility."

"bye" i said happily. Not much to do now... looking at the bodies strewn around me i felt a wave of couosity of another world, with a child whose song can travel the universes, i suddenly thought of my kidnapped sister and that maybe she could be on that world. Whatever happens im going to find my sister, even if it means travelling to hell. I flew in a random direction hopefully trying to find a way to the world.
