"I thought you told me it didn't begin until tomorrow?" she asked, now confused.

"The council won't announce it till tomarow. This is the first time I've ever attended the festival. Up till this year, I had always stayed home, feeling sorry for myself and morning over my losses," she said, looking down, "I've always known the festival was a joyfull celebration, I never had it in me to celebrate only a few days after Chiei's birthday. It always felt wrong, but now i know she's in a better place now."

"Yeah..." she said.  "Don't you want to explore the festival too?" she asked.

"Yes, and I have been doing just that. It's been fun so far," she said with a smile, "I still have to be careful because of the eggs, but that's simple enough to do. Especially when everyone seems to realize this. I must say, this has been the best time I've had in a long time. The last time i remember having this much fun was back on Valenth during the Doctor's Ball, long before I came here."

Goldenscale tilted her head.  "What is a 'Doctor's Ball'?" she asked.

"It's a holiday celebrated world over on Valenth," she said, "It's the only yearly holdiday where someone could actually meet one of the Chapers. Every year it is hosted by Nefrian Dreamscar, the chapter of mind and creator of leupacks. The ball itself is heald in the Reverie as a reality bending dream. Anything that happens during the Doctor's Ball transfers over into real life."

"Exactley, through his powers over the mind, Nerfrien merges the dream and reality for the even. The only thing he wont merge is any injury one sustained during the Ball," she said , "It's made possible by the tear between reality and the Reverie on Valenth. There is a litteral hole between the two in Jettersburough."

"It's hard to grasp without experiencing firsthand.  I though the same until I went to my first Doctor's Ball. Maybe I can take you to one someday," she said, patting Goldenscale's back with a wing, "For now, lets just enjoy this festival. We still have most of the day ahead of us."

"True... What do you want to do now?" she asked.

"Personally, I'm content with just watching people have fun. I'm no good at the games, and I'd just end up waisting my copper and silver," she said, shrugging.

"Well, I didn't expect to see you here with the rest of the council busy as ever," Kasra said, her scale had regain a healthy sheen and her eyes held a low electric blue glow, "You still up for visiting some time this week? Tina and Dains are counting down the days."

"I can understand, this is the first festival I've been in with my whole family," she said, nodding, "I can finally enjoy the festival rather than stay home in pain.I still can't thank you enough for all you've done."
