"Mayumi seems to know some strange creatures doesn't she," he asked, "They kind of make me feel uncomfortable."

"I think they are amazing creatures." she said.  She then moved to a fruit tree and began to pick the fruits from it.

Frost watches them converse.

"I'm not saying they aren't. I just feel uncomfortable around them. Being unable to sense one's aura and the other seeming to be filled with dreams just unsettles me," he said.

"So, what happened to Kor," Halomin asked, turning so he could face Mayumi, "Didn't he used to mean the world to you?"

Mayumi realed back a little at the mention of Kor. "Please don't remind me of him. He's no longer with us," she said, looking down, "I lost him a long time ago."

"I'm sorry to hear that," Halomin said.

Frost looks at her and doesn't know what to say.

"He should have let me clean the wound," she said quietly, closing her eyes as they watered up, "Now he's a painful memory with so may others attached."

"I'm not going to ask. The mental stress isn't good the lives you carry," he said, walking over and patting Mayumi at the side with a wing. "Back to brighter topics, how was it that you two met," he asked looking to Frost.

"It was the first time i came back in years. I walked into her shop and was in my human form. I got rapheon berries." Frost answered.

"I'm not going to pretend I know what those are," he said with a light laugh, "There has to be more than that though. Relationships don't just for after one meeting."

"You only asked how we met, and rapheon berries are a type of sweet medicinal fruit," she said, shaking her head to clear her thoughts, "After the first meeting, we ended up doing several favors for eachother before we started getting close. Goldenscale played a big part in that."

"She did and became our first child." Frost said with a smile and a laugh.

"I see, she's probably something very precious to you two then," he said.

"She is, and in more than one way," she said, her mood lightening up, "If not for her, Mossed would never have found his way here."

"Goldenscale definitly seems the type to be like that," he said, looking to the door Tieral and Goldenscale had left through, "What about the silent fellow that fallowed her?"

"That's Tieral. He and her are in love i think." Frost says not truly knowing what the future held.

"Not the talkative one is he," he asked with a laugh, "I don't blame him though. I would be nervouse around the parent of the one I love. He's probalby afraid you two would disprove of them being together." Stepping over to Mossed, he said something in a feline like laguage before stepping back. "Well, it's been nice meeting you Frost, and to see you again Mayumi. Maybe you could come visit us for a change some time," he said before a varanius opened a green portal that he stepped through.

"So Frost, Alekai here says he gave a surprise when you two first met," Mossed said with a chuckle, Alekai was hanging onto the crystal gear on the back of his neck, "Goldenscale did pretty well for her first one made. If I didn't know better, I would think she's put a varanius together before."

"I can feel their auras.  I can feel them like-"  Goldenscale's vision suddenly blurred and she dropped her bag of the tree fruits.  The next thing she knew, her vision was hazy and she was looking at some machine-like object.  She could hear talking in the background, but it was inaudible.  She blinked and her vision went back to the tree.  She went down to the ground to retrieve her bags of fruits and climbed the tree again to grab a few more of the fruits.

"Are you OK Goldenscale? You went silent there for a moment," Tieral asked, getting up to go out and find her, "Did you run into or see something?"

"I'm fine.  My bag just slipped so I went to go retrieve it." she said.
