"Is it just me or is the air around here easier to breath than normal? If feels as though there's no mirajin to speak of in the atmosphere, "he said as a pair of wings faded into existance on his back. "Must be, my magic's failing," he said, looking back to see his wings, "I'll have to reissue the spell when I get home. Humans don't like to deal with winged creatures too much."

"No, there is no such thing as mirajin on this planet.  And you wings are made from magic?" she asked.

"That explains a bit, and no, my wings are hidden by magic. The spell I use to hide them is dependent on the mirajin in the air back home. I've never known a chimaera that doesn't have wings," he said, looking back to Goldenscale, "Personally, I don't like them. They just don't seem right to me. I guess it's because I was raised by leupaks."

"I understand.  I feel out of place here among the dragons.  My wings are made of feathers while everyone else has wings resembling a bat's.  I resemble a gryphon more than a dragon because of my mane and wings, but I wouldn't change them.  They help me to keep my body heat." she said, smoothing her feathers.

"At least yours serve a perpose to you. Mine do little to nothing for me where I live.Chimaera are mostly desert people, so I gueess the wings could serve as a sort of sunscreen for their backs, but in a building they're useless," he said, "They wouldn't be good for flight. They're much too small for that."

"There's always a use for everything." she said with a smile.

(kind of except they can't move fast enough in humanoid form. They become usable in his beast form)

"They may have their uses, but not where I live or work. I guess I could always use my beast form to give them use, but that wouldn't go over too well in a buiilding," he said, scratching behind one of his ears, "By the way things smell around here, I'm guessing your claim of this being a different planet is true. The air's too clean, and the scent of othe chimaera is nonexistant."

"Pretty much.  We have six legendary species, counting the dragons, and them several other species that live on the planet." she said.

"So, what's the difference between lagendary and normal species," he asked, slipping off his suit before morphing into his beast form, making his wings larger and made him look similar to a gryphon and dragon mix. "OK, now I don't feel so out of place when speaking to you," he said, folding his suit and placing it in Mossed's bag.

Frost nods to Mayumi, " As you wish. Let's go shall we?" he stays with Mayumi as they head back.

""Yes, we should stop by and tell Goldenscale so she wont worry about us disappearing," she said, shuttering for a moment. "Just two more," she said to herself, "Just two more."

"Well, the legendary species would be the Dragons, Gryphons, Pumas, Rocs, Unicorns, and Cockatrices.  All of us are magical and intelligent beings that take up most of the population, besides humans.  Then there are the other species that aren't nearly as advanced but also make up the rest of the population, such as pigs, rabbits, and a bunch of other creatures. Humans have their own category for they are smarter than a normal animal, yet less advanced than the legendary species." she said with a smile.

"It seems that human here have developed in vastly different way than back home. They still no match for a dragon, but they're just as advanced," he said, "The only species more advanced then them are the aeneski and fae, but that's because they've been around much longer. It doesn't hurt that the three chapters were originally aeneski. Can't say I'm too fond of those stuck up fae, but they make good medicine."

"What's wrong Mayumi?" He looks to her as they walk towards Goldenscales home.

"I'm fine, I'm just going through my cycles. Two more and the eggs will be on their way. That will be about midnight, two days from now," she said, bringing her wings in close, "The final cycle will come when the eggs are ready."
