"She is definitly something. Most would have to endure years of earning trust and working up their reputation in the cave to even have a chance at being inducted," she said before picking up her pace to walk up beside Goldenscale. "So, it seems you are part of the council. I hope my husband hasn't caused you too much trouble for you there," she said to Goldenscale, keeping her voice down so Kokkorok wouldn't hear.

"No, but he isn't a part of the council anymore since three days ago." she said.  "But I still need an advisor, whatever that is.  But maybe he could be my advisor." she said.  "Of course, if he accepts."

"An advisor is someone who give you information on a subject. I used to be Kor's advisor until the demons came," she said, looking surprised at the turn of events, "Advisors have to be approved by the council as a whole to be given the title. It's to keep the wrong kind of people from becoming advisors and giving the wrong advise or information. Knowing Kor, he'll accept if you ask, but there's no promises on the rest of the council."

"I can get them to change their minds easily if they don't accept." she said with a wide smile.  "I've already done it, so why can't I do it again."  She was confident with her discussion skills, so she thought she would be able to do it again.

"This isn't a matter of opinion. It's a matter of how well prepared for the job he is. If he doesn't have what it takes, he wont be approved, but that doesn't mean he can't try again later," she said, "Look at it like he's trying to make a scuplture for a very highly respected person. Even if his sculpture is refused, he can go back and try again with a more experience. I don't think they'll deny him, but there's always the chance he doesn't have the knowledge needed."

"Oh." she said.  She clear,y didn't know many of the rules or how the country col worked.

"The council itself likes to run itself on a favor system, if you haven't found that out yet. If you can get them in debt to you in some way, you can get them to wave just about anything once," she said, stopping at the willow as they passed by, "There's very few things they wont wave. One would be murder."

Goldenscale tensed, but co tinued to walk.  She had killed, and killed a Gryphon.  If they didn't wave off murder, then she would be in a tight squeeze if they found out.

"The only way to be excused from things they can't wave is to have a sound reason for doing it. Say someone was attempting to kill you, and you ended up killing them in retaliation. They will excuse that isnstance If you can prove to them you had every right to the action without fault."

She relaxed since that was exactly what had happened.

"I'm guessing you've ran into a situation like that," she said, noticing Goldenscale relax, "So long as you're not in the wrong for doing it, you should be fine."

"I wasn't in the wrong.  Thankfully." she said.  The cave soon appeared.  "Here we are.  Home sweet home."

"It must still be winter since the snow barrier is still standing. I'm surprised they continued to make it after I was taken," she said, running the back of a claw along the entrance, shaving off a thin layer of snow that quickly regenerated , "And they thought it was a crazy idea."

"It must be something magical." she said.  She has led when she remembered Alekai.  "Tieral, is Alekai still with Mayumi and Frost?" she asked him.

"Yes, Mayumi was playing with him when we left. He should be fine," Tieral said, watching as Mira walked over to Kokkorok and started catching up with events, "No one but you and your enforcers will enter your home without permision."
