"Still tired from last night I see," Mayumi said to herself, placing the pastries near the bed. Drawing a circle around herself on the floor, she lit it with a spark of white fire.Standing still, she watched the fire change colors before settling on a deep red. "That's good to see," she said once the fire when out.

After about an hour, Tieral lapsed into another coughing fit, scaring Alekai.

'Alekai, it's alright.  Don't be afraid.  Just give him a glass of water and he'll be better.' Goldenscale told him.  She was still fast asleep, but she was awake enough to reply.

Grabbing the glass from last night, Alekairan to the pool of water and filled it before returning to hand it too Tieral.

"Thank you little one," he said once his coughing stopped. Standing up, he walked into the pool room to Goldenscale, and layed at the edge of the pool staring into the water. "If only I could make it stop," he said to himself.

'If I knew what was wrong, I might be able to help you, but I don't...' she told him mentally.  As he looked into the water he would see glints of gold as the light reflected of her scales.

"I just can't get over my own mother calling me a failure. While I know it's not true, I just can't help but feel the sting of her words," he said, teas welling up in his eyes, "I just hurt to know that the one person that's supposed to be there for me, thinks that I'm nothing."

'At least you had a mother...  I may have one now, but before that I didnt have any family.  I was attacked by my own species when I was only a year old and that made me think I was unwanted and unloved.  But the forest healed what would have killed me and told me to find that happiness that was never given.  Konoki and all of those other species took me in and showed me their ways.  I learned from them to think for others, how tonnes my powers, how to fight, and how to make a living for myself.  Every step along the way consisted of being told I was a mistake and I was something the world disposed of, that I was unwanted by both heaven and hell, but I still kept trying and helped others.  I may not have thought for myself at all, but bay least that kept me going.  You don't have to be alone.  There are others out there that have gone through the same thing.  We just have to look for them.' she said.  She then woke and went to the surface, but stayed in the water because it was warmer and she could deal with it better.  "Life is like the sun.  It may set and plunge us in darkness, but at the end of it all is a beautiful light that will bring us out."

Frost wakes up to mayumis voice. "So how are you this morning?"

"I ran from home when I was two. Out of all the things I remember about her, the moment she called me a failure will always be the most prominent. All I had wanted a was apple from a tree since it was my favorite food at the time. When I went to climb it, she pulled me from the tree and threw me to the ground then proceded to call me a failure and several other things just because I couldn't speak," he said, looking to Goldenscale, "Even though I know everything she said was false, the whole experience sticks with me. To me at that time, her doing that then was like what my reaction would bee if Mayumi were to take Alekai and desttroy him."

"A little sore, but that's usual after a night of activety," she said, wiping up the circle, "How about you dear?"

"Good n you were the first. But....... eulogy came by last night."

Goldenscale tensed up at the thought, anger turning her blood to fire.  If that would happen while she was there, she would for sure go on a killing spree like she did earlier.  "I'm not so different from you, only I have a some anger issues...  I couldn't talk either until Frost made me.  And there are some of us born differently.  We both would fit in that category.  You were born mute, and I..." she trailed off, knowing there were more things wrong with her than was normal.  "But anyways, our differences bring together the most unlikely of people." she said.

"Thank you for listening. For the longest time, I've held in the pain thinking others would see me as weak because of it.," he said, the mental pain and fog starting to clear from his mind as he brought a handfull of water up to wash his face of his tears, "I don't wawant to ever loose you."

"Who's Eulogy," she asked, "Anyways, I know for sure that we'll have at least two."

"You probably won't.  I don't have the luxury of death like everyone else." she said with a shrug.  She shivered.  "I'm going to go under the water again.  I can't hold in body heat for shia and I'll most likely freeze to death..." she said as she slid under the water again.

Frost smiles at the thought of two children along with their current one goldenscale. Then he thought of eulogy. "He's the father of the one that took me. That female dragon that use to be my wife. He was the one who made her come back. Now he's made it clear to get even with me.... I have to take care of this mayumi. For us and their future." He kisses her passionately before heading off to face him.

Goldenscale jumped out of the water, sensing something's going to happen.  "I need to do something before I fall asleep again." she said, running to Frost the best she could with her limp.  "Frost, what are you doing!  You better not be going to get yourself killed." she yelled at him as she ran.

"Alright, I'll be right here if you need me," Tieral said, watching Goldenscale submerge herself.

"Wait, take this," Mayumi said, catching up to Frost anf handing him a round glass bottle filled with perfectly clear water, "If things get rough, throw this at him. It will douse him in vitae rich water that will burst into a white fire. It will destroy both body and soul."
