Icetalon blinked, tilting her head. "Council?" she then looked up at seeing a smaller dragon amoung the branches before standing. "Well... it was very nice to meet you all and get tied up in vines."

"I'm new to this too so you're not alone.  That's Alekai, my son,  but he's a varanius." she said, pointing to Alekai.  "To much that needs to be explained, not enough facts to explain it thing..." she said with a sigh.

Jumping from the branch, Alekai landed on Goldenscale's back and crawled up so that he was laying on he head. "Would Mayumi be able to help," he asked as he got comfortable.

Icetalon offered the hatchling a smile under her helmet, hoping he would see. "Although I don't know what a Valanius is, it is very nice to meet you both. I feel you and I got off on the wrong paw. You are Goldenscale, if I remember?" She offered a front paw in greeting, unsure of how things where done around here but a handshake was pretty universal.

(I f***ing did it.)

"Yes, we did.  I am Goldenscale, nice to properly meet you Icetalon." she said, shaking her paw.

(yeay!Take a pic with your DS and post on chicken smoothie! i wanna see~) Icetalon dipped her head a small amount before raising it proudly again. She lowered her paw back to the ground, talons sinking into the soft soil. "That male dragon said something about a council..?"

"Yeah, there is a council, and I'm a part of it, the youngest member by far."  She laughed embarrassed.  "They must have been desperate for someone with my talents because I was inducted into the council when I was at the cave for three days." 

Icetalon chuckled under her breath. "Perhaps you where just well qualified, age has not to do with talent,ability, nor intelligence." she responded.

"I guess..." she said with a smile.

"It's a possibility," Alekai said climbing down from Goldenscale's head to the ground.

Icetalon's jaws parted slightly in a grin. "Ah, I like this child." she said cheerfully, pointing a claw in Alekai's direction. "spunk, curiosity, and an open mind." she lowered her huge head down to the hatchling's level, peering at him.

Upon getting closer to Alekai, quiet gears and pistons could be heard working away under his skin, and the glass pannel on his chest could be seen revealing his crystal. "Thank you," he said sitting down, showing more of the crystal.

"He is my pride and joy." she said with a smile.

"then all is as it should be." Icetalon replied to Goldenscale, although she was a tad taken aback at discovering the hatchling's mechanical anatomy. She had encountered many strange breeds of dragons,one similar to this in fact but as an adult, seemingly made of metal and cloth. But this little dragon was much better constructed. /fasinating/ she thought, but mearly patted his head with one huge paw. "You're welcome."

When Icetalon patted him on the head, he started purring.
