Slowly, the green spot on the wall grew till it was half as tall as Goldenscale while varani of all colors and designs came through, scouting the cave.Finaly, a human sized grey-tan creature came through carrying a metal box.

"You must be Goldenscale. I am Mossed. Glad to meet you," e said setting the box down and giving a polite bow then ooking over to see several  of the varani either climbing onto Mayumi or sitting around her, "She may be older, but she hasn't changed a bit."

"Hello..." she said.  She then went to a corner and curled up there, just wanting to watch for  now.  She gave him a location so that he could see Mayumi, so she wanted to stay out of the way.  She was also a bit afraid of these new creatures because she didn't know what they were.  She did like their colors, though.

Taking the box, Mossed walked over to Mayumi and sat in front of her. Giving a quick nod, Mayumi started another stare.

"You must be the one who led Dad here," one of the smaller varni said as it walked up to Goldenscale, "Thank you, we haven't seen him this excited to meet with someone in a long time."

"You're welcome." she said with a smile, putting her head down on the ground.

"Where is this place? It seems almost as like we're in Schalle. The atmosphere feels so pure and clear," it said.

"You'd have to ask Mayumi that...  I don't know where this place is exactly either, even though I live here." she said with an embarrassed laugh.

"I think that's what Dad is doing now," it said looking over to see Mayumi and Mossed still locked before climbing onto Goldenscale's head to get on eye level, "I don't believe I've ever seen a dragon like you before. Then again, I've only seen boralions and flarions before."

"I know I look odd.  I.m the only one on this planet I believe that looks like me.  All of the other dragons look much different from me.  I'm the only one with feathered wings, different colored eyes, a chest covered in fur, basically I look nothing like other dragons.  I don't really classify myself as a dragon because of it...  I feel like I don't deserve the title." she said with a frown.  "That dragon over there is what most dragons look like on this planet..." she said, pointing to Tieral.

"He looks kind of like a rampant dragon back home, except he's less colorful. Don't say you're not a dragon because of how you look. Back home there are litteraly dragons that grow from seeds," it said looking over to Tieral, "They come in all sorts of verieties. The locals at home call us dragons despite us being machines."

"But it isn't just how I look that I think makes me different from other dragons.  I can use larger magic than an adult and be able to control it, I have no idea what my origins are, I'm just too diferent to even say." she said.  "The magic I used to contact you dad was magic in a larger amount that not even a few dragons would be able to control."

"Some species are able to handle magic better than others. For example, white flarions can't use magic at all. Red flarions are tipically weaker than normal or white flarions, but they possess greater magic abilities," it said, "Your genetics may give you your abilities. There's one sure way to tell if you are a dragon, but Dad would refuse to do it."

"What is it exactly." she asked, interested.

"Well, leupak eggs can't survive taking in dragon DNA of any kind. It's too incompatible to work, and the natural body heat of most dragons kill the eggs before they get a chance to gather DNA," it said, "There's only one draconinc leupak, and it was made be the Dreamwaker himself."

"That might be able to help me to some degree.  I know for sure that I will die within about 20 minutes of being outside in snow, but the temperature of water doesn't seem to bother me because apparently I can adapt my body to the water unconsciously...  Oh, that's another way I'm odd.  I can shapeshift." she said.

"The whole process of getting a leupak egg implanted is very scarring and painful. I wouldn't suggest having it done to you," it said, "Shapeshifting is a comon magic among dragons who are capable of magic. Back home, everyone is afraid of flarions and boralions, but very few can detect a disguise. Some dragons have the magic down well enough that they don't have to think about it when using it."
